I first want to define three terms:

1. Theist: someone who accepts Christ, G-d, Allah, a god, or gods.

2. Non-Theist: someone who doesn't accept the supernatural, but it isn't a big deal to them.

3. Miso-Theist: someone who hates God or religion in general and Crusades/Jihads against it at any cost everywhere they go.

The main focus of this thread is with Miso-Theists. These people desire to rid the world of the pathology of religion; they are truly the thought-police of many forums. It's not just that they view religion as wrong, but they absolutely hate it and want to get rid of it. And for them the end justifies the means.

Attacking people personally and generally, they go about entire forums of the internet seeking to cleanse the cyberscape of this enemy of theirs. Religion must die! They find their way everywhere, not just in PPR for the battle ranges all over.

Christianity and religious topics are generally relegated to the PPR section. People find it offensive. It clutters. No one wants it. The same is true of the misotheistic attacks. They should be relegated to PPR. If religious Aspies are equal members, then we shouldn't have to be constantly be defending our faiths on virtually any topic a misotheist deems appropriate.

In fact, people who go out of their way to attack the beliefs of others, should they be allowed to do so freely? Should they go unpunished? I distinguish here between a discussion and an attack. A discussion is solicited and the conversation is respectful of all parties.

What do I say ought to be done? These misotheists should not be allowed to freely roam and attack everywhere they please. How that is done is not my concern. I just want equality of treatment for all Aspies.

I thought that only happened in the PPR forum, or mostly, but I have been there most of the time so that is why I didn't notice Razz

iamnotaparakeet, I hate people who push their religion on others, as well as their viewpoint, vis-a-vis that religion. So I wouldn't go casting the first stone, if I were you. I certainly wouldn't, myself.

Also, you could just do an "Ad hominem" reply to every anti-christian post.

My thread was just about my custom rank because my real last name is actually Holy seriously and everyone thinks I'm Christian when by my birthright through my mom I'm Jewish-Reform (Mom was brought hardcore Jewish). It wasn't about religion at all though I did brought it up but the point was the custom rank. I have religious tolerance for any religion because one has their own beliefs. I'm going to saying you have completely misinterpreted the original idea of the thread, parakeet, and made it into your interpretation against Atheism.

I believe parakeet based this on IdahoRose's post when she mentioned the word "crusade" and not about your thread or your posts exactly, I don't think he meant that your thread was offending or anti-christian, just the subject was brought up on that thread.

By the way, Holy has to do with all wide range of religions so it must not be exclusive to Christianity or monotheist religions.

I forgot to mention since my dad was Catholic and my mom was Jewish, My siblings and I were never had a religious upbring. This meant never religious services in either religion. We just celebrated the major holidays in the two religions. Hanukkah, Pastover, Christmas and Easter were the holidays. So I'm very religious but I believe in God at least if you're happy with your ideas of anti-Atheism. I even have friends who are Atheists and I have no problems with them one bit. Freedom of Religion is an important aspect of the U.S. Constitution and in the American Bill of Rights as well as Freedom of Speech. Everyone is a living human being who has their own belief system. The point is that everyone has the right to roam free because its basic human right, Liberty.

Weird thing is that my last name comes from the name Holycross in England. Yet my dad is Czech weird isn't.

Re-read my first post and tell Jerry what it actually says.

Edit: sorry, that was rude of me.

I agree.

I'm not athiest btw, most of my family seem to be agnostics, including myself, we didn't have problems with people's beliefs, I was friend with a Jehova Witness guy, couple of years ago, nice guy.

Well thats Idaho's opinion and well if anyone remember that one thread dealing with Jewish people. Wink Yeah that was offense to me because of my birthright and also in that same thread the Holocaust was brought up in which was also emotional to me. Then Israel having no right to exist was bs because Israel is a good example of the three monotheist religions coexist in peace. That thread really burn me up.

This isn't about freedom of religion or freedom of speech. It is about people attacking others for thinking a certain way. I'd like the attacks to stop, or to be moved to PPR.

I agree but the Alex and mods decide that idea in the end.
