Thanks for the links Yowlingcat and Gbollard. I will check them both out. I do feel that this is causing me many helath problems and my suger craving is probably because the yeast has entered my brain saying "feed us"...greedy little bast%^& _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang

As an after thought...I have read that the dying off of the yeast can cause some nasty side effects. Did you experience this yourself and can you share the symptoms you think were caused by this? One of my biggest cognitive blocks for making changes is fear that I wont be able to function well enough to work. As I live check by check, I can't afford to be any sicker then the yeast, my smoking, and thyroid already makes me. I am barely functioning as things are, (yeah being constantly anxious and aspie doesn't exactly help )
So what do I have to look forward to? I have also tried eating healthier off and on my whole life but some smell, texture and taste issues make eating certain foods induce a gag reflex. On the up-side, I don't mind plain foods or not eating a variety as much as some people and I do like some healthy foods...is broccili OK...I think it's the only vegatable I actually like. Where there certain foods that you thought were "good"? _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang

I don't recall any negative side effects, just no more cramps and brain fog. |

I can't recall the details but yes... you definitely know when the yeast/candida dies. There was a massive side-effect.
It was obvious but can't have been traumatising since I can't remember much about it. _________________ Gavin.

Whenever I'm really stressed out, I a) get a headache or a stomache ache b) start feeling dizzy c) hyperventalate or d)Shake
That's a meltdown for me.
"The second is more dramatic. I go to sleep normally but after about 3 or 4 hours I wake up and my brain is going crazy. Music is playing, thoughts are racing out of control, and images are flashing about, all independent of my normal thinking."
Ugh, that's me too. I would say that you are having panic attacks though, not necessarily meltdowns. _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

I used to lock up after a heavy socialising event - the damage that was doing to my loved ones was the catalyst that led me to find a way out - http://unlearningasperger.blogspot.com - I think it's very important to stop collecting the data; it is the impossible task of trying to systemise the vast amount of incoming data that is doing your head in.
Very best

| You know that part in The Empire Strikes Back when Han Solo is being processed before he is put into carbonite? He is pretty beat and gets zapped in the face with some kind of electricity. That's what a meltdown reminds me of, I almost have to wince. Gotta get away from those shocks! Another analogy is that it feels like my head is getting filled with helium. |
