I will be presenting at Autreat 2008. This is a good chance for Wrong Planet members to meet one another in a safe environment. How many of you guys can go and how are you getting there? I'm thinking an airplane may be the best option but it's a little expensive to fly.

As soon as I figure out how to teleport and simultaneously warp time so my boss doesn't realise I'm missing work...
In the meantime, I'm thinking YouTube may be a nice idea, Alex? (Assuming you'll have that one sorted anyway!).

Believe me, it is worth it! _________________ Autscape 2009:

| I'd really like to go but I have a baby who would be 6 mo. old at that time. Maybe when he's a bit older we could go. It would be really cool. |

| I will be going with my boyfriend who is also a member of this site. I will probably be getting there from a flight from Los Angeles to somewhere else to possibly somewhere else, eventually ending up in Bradford. I still need to make flight arrangements. |

I'm getting there by (among other things) taking an 18 hours flight from Johannesburg to New York. Apparently the longest non-stop commercial flight in the world.
And, yes, it will be worth it. |

I would probably go if I knew some of my friends on the site were going. I live close enough to drive there (though it would be a long trip). It would be much faster to fly. _________________ Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.
