I've been stressed out at school lately, and my muscles have been really tense and painful lately. Besides getting a profressional massage (no $$$), what can I do? _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

It's not inflammation, just sore from being stressed and panicking all the time _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

I do my TaiChi exercises under a shower as hot as I can stand it.

Hmm, a hot shower might help (with a nice ice cold glass of water near by in case I feel faint) _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

A warm bath with Natural eucalyptus and or lavender oils. These don't have a synthetic smell compared to other gels or bubble baths. Plus eucalyptus is suppose to help with muscle tension and lavender is suppose to relax you. At least it worked for me. Then get one of them bubble blowers!! Kind of like getting a jacuzzi in case you don't have one. They have underwater jets that massage the body.
Also drink plenty of fluid meaning water. Just because one isn't thirsty, doesn't mean they're dehydrated. This keeps the symptoms down unless of course you tore a ligament. LOL.
They also have little massage combs that come in different varieties and most of them are cheap. If you can use that along with massage oil. _________________ Oh you can't help that. We're all mad here.

i get knots in my back all the freaking time from rowing. the last time i got a massage, the person spent the whole time putting their whole weight into it trying to work them out.
where exactly is the muscle pain? i'd suggest stretching as a cheap alternative to a massage. I find i get some relief from stretching out the muscles, at least for a little while. the other thing i do is just try to work the knots out with some kind of an edge or a knuckle. i just sit in my chair, stick my hand between the backrest and my back and lean into it, putting the knuckle where the knot is, and work it out until it's gone. it's not always the most comfortable thing, and it's not quite as effective as a massage, but it does the trick until university starts up again and i get free massages (yay varsity status). |

I might get my mom to put some pressure on it or use her super awesome massage machine I can't find at the moment _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

Well shoot if I was there I could give you a massage but other than a massage I don't know what would work Maybe a hot bath to soak in or a good long rest in a big soft chair with a good book? _________________ Box |

| beanbag chairs rock. my only beef with them is that when you've been sitting in them for a while, then you get up to do something, you can never get it quite where it was before you got up. |

I love them, but once you get outside, your back feels so empty and cold _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

| i wish my boat had bean bag seats. the guy i was rowing with wasn't very good so the boat was leaning to one side for most of the time. my right cheek hurts, and my right leg was numb toward the end of practise. |
