Most of them are battle music, and there are too many to list for me. _________________ People and planets and stars will become dust. And the dust will become atoms and the atoms will become... nothing. This is my ultimate victory, Doctor! The destruction of reality itself!

I love listening to video game music, allows me to imagine myself playing a video game while listening to it. Not to mention it brings back memories.
I like too many, so I'll compile a basic list of ten:
1. Terra's Theme - Final Fantasy 6
2. Aria Di Mezzo Caraterre - Final Fantasy 6
3. Dancing Mad (Parts 1 and 5) - Final Fantasy 6
4. World Revolution - Chrono Trigger
5. Determination - Chrono Trigger
6. Grabbag - Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project version
7. War Like Requiem: Stage 10 Boss - Thunder Force IV
8. Track 5 - Half-Life 2
9. Doomsday Zone - Sonic 3 & Knuckles
10. Final Boss Music - Final Fantasy III DS version _________________ "Have a nice apocalypse" - Southland Tales
But I like Willy's Castle stage music from Mega Man 2
Also Metal Man.
I also like Ryu's stage music from Street Fighter 2,
Gotta love some Zelda (that rabbit joint cover is bad@zz too)
Also love some stuff off of F-Zero
Most of the Crono Trigger songs
And last the opening to the first Wild Arms.

I really like the Halo music. I haven't played many video games compared to other people, but I think that the Halo game music is fun to listen to even when you're not playing the game. Some of the original Nintendo game songs can also be quite catchy. In high school, people played the original Nintendo game songs (like on Mario, Zelda, and Tetris) on their instruments, especially the piano. The percussion section played Tetris all the time almost every day on the marimba, with three different parts, which was pretty awesome. Anyways, those are some of my favorite video game songs. _________________ I am a 19 year old girl who lives in Washington State and was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at 9 years old. I don't listen to videogame music very often on its own, but when I do I like a lot of old NES music...David Warhol did a lot of great stuff for Maniac Mansion and Total Recall. Mother/Earthbound series, Dragon Warrior series (especially the extended versions from the remix games), Legacy of the Wizard, Duck Tales, Seiken Densetsu III, Crystalis, Dr. Mario, Gauntlet...
More obvious series like Super Mario, Castlevania, Kirby, Zelda, Metroid, Megaman, etc. Heck, most Capcom games just have really great music.
Love the music in the NES Tetris, I won't play most versions of Tetris because the music sucks...lately it seems like it's all silly techno stuff. Meh.
I really, really like this band http://www.minibosses.com/ _________________ How wonderful to be so profound.
