Same as the title: Do you have any interesting or funny TV show ideas? I have a funny one (and some others I can't remember at the moment). What if they had a show where they stranded billionaires or celebrities in the wilderness (without them knowing) and had one person who had a secret camera on their shirt or something so that it wasn't obvious. They could also have a secret radio or something just in case something happened. I think that would be even more interesting than "Survivor", since they would have to actually survive on their own and it would be real. Maybe they could try finding their way back somewhere in a certain amount of time so that they would have at least a small plot or point to the show. If they actually got permission to do this kind of show (which is likely not lol), I think I would watch it (if it was real and they weren't just acting). Any other ideas that anyone else has?

I like the OP's idea - putting people way out of their comfort zone without any controls or programs - just plain, unadulterated viewing.

You'd have a hard time getting approval though.

My idea would be getting a heap of business people and putting them in small towns and leave them to find a place to live with $1000 to start on. No using connections, no access to their finances. They have to go and find a job and a place to live and earn money the ol' fashioned way - through back breaking labour.

I think there was a documentary about this awhile back - a business man and his wife went to a small mining town in a similar fashion - the guy got a job at a mine but could never get any work. He got sick and couldn't afford the medical fees. When he and his wife got back it was weeks before he could go back to work. He said he had no idea it was so bad, and when he got back he got health care plans for all of his workers.

Big brother with all disabled people. Teach people that actually we're not freaks. Like Breaking Boundries, but in a normal environment.

A friend and I came up with an idea we just fell in love with. Basically the show is a classroom of fourth graders and their teacher. But in the classroom, each student has a different disorder- and they're all to the extremes. The teacher is constantly over-whelmed from it all! We came up with probably about fifteen kids for it at least and even designed some of them on a Doll Maker website. We call the show "Disorder in the Classroom". I got it from that phrase "Disorder in the court". lol

A Sci-Fi Story focusing on war. BAsically I'll base the sides off the mainstream societies on Earth currently; modify it to be a Coalition of 'Mainstream' forces/nations/whatnot and all the outcasts/fringers/etc who form an Alliance against the mainstreamers.

I posted some of the story, prologue and sh** on http://www.warsie.deviantart.com/

EDIT: Prologue. Yes it is LOONG

??? Everybody wants shows about people in dysfunctional high-stress situations?? Isn't there enough of that on TV already? Why don't we just have a big, loud party and watch each other melt down...

I dont want that...I want a show that shows what people with AS could do if they had their creativity, knowledge and a descent amount of resources. I guess I do have a curiosity facture, because I don't know if we would do well or not, but I think it would be an intersting experiment to see if we would develoop a different type of society based on our AS traits or if we would fall back on the NT models we have been "indoctrinated" with.

Of course we would need someone like Inventor who had some executive function skills.... Wink

There's a dead guy.

Every episode something different comes across his corpse.

In the first episode, chickens peck at it.

In the second episode, vultures peck at it.

In the third episode he gets run over.

In the fourth episode he's taken to a mortuary.

In the fifth episode we see him getting embalmbed in a strangely erotic fashion.

In the sixth episode we watch him get cremated. There's a long and disturbing burning scene. It's so realistic you'll swear the corpse is actually real.

In the seventh episode we watch his ash.

In the eigth episode it's basically a close up of the urn for a half-hour.

In the ninth episode it's a close up of the same urn but it's in somebody's house. At the end there's the cliffhanger for the series finale--the urn gets knocked over and it breaks in the last 5 seconds.

In the tenth episode somebody sucks the ashes into the vacuum.

Each episode lasts a half hour and is directed by Sophia Coppola, Queen of Boring sh**.

ok going along the aspie theme.

Name: Social idiots guide to dealing with society (the made is meant to be ironic)

Plot It’s about the lives of an aspie male a female couple with equally aspie kids. The show would focus on the daily lives of the couple their kids, and the parents lives before the were a couple both separately and when they met or are together. it would not be presented serious drama nor an all out comedy. It would be more of a analytical humor show, often involving the absurdities people in general encounter in daily life. As well as poking well intended fun at the families quirks not In a mean spirited way more along the lines of like anyone would joke about their families oddities.

Uh, I think it'd have the opposite effect...

I'd want a sitcom - no laugh track - about utterly incompetent criminals. Guys who have ideas above their station and so end up having to hide dead bodies and sh**.

A weekly sitcom featuring an American family that relocates to a foreign country, preferably someplace close like Canada or Mexico. They have to deal with everyday occurances in those lands that may or may not pertain to American life. Culture shock would be the norm for them in every episode. I believe that good comedic situations can result from this.

Derren Brown's Duel to the Death

Every week magician Derren Brown uses his powers of persuasion to convince random members of the public to fight each other to the death. Various weapons like katanas, chainsaws, etc will be made available and the eventual winner will be given a free weekend trip to Belgium with £10 spending money.
