God, how I cant stand them and how I hate them.
Ive seen many people on the Internet be total jerks to me, including HERE.
I would post in the meet up forum but....its so long.
I feel lonely also and if you flame me on this post like other people have on other forums, then forget you. Sorry, I guess Im having a bad day.
So who else has this happened to?
And YES. I probably am postig this on the wrong forum.....  |

I've said it before and I'll say it again. There is something about the anonymity of the Internet that turns nearly everybody into a total a**hole. There are so many people (Neurotypical's and Aspie's alike, probably) that get onto the Web and say so many things that they would never dream of saying in real life.
Most of the insults that people post are so unoriginal and so unintelligent that I just hit them back with a witty retort. If that doesn't shut them up and they just come back for more, they humiliate themselves even farther as my retorts pile against their ego and cause them years of mental anguish (I hope).

There are millions of zen quotes and such one could put....
but I will just tell you the solution instead. Grow a back bone.
There will ALWAYS be mean people, jerky people, arrogant people, angry people....these are all human traits.
The problem is you are too sensitive. Not a bad thing by any means just a thing thing.
I am also sensitive but now I am kind to those deserving.
If I posted something like..."you're a bitch"
Would you be upset? You shouldn't.
Why? Because who am I?
I am just some guy. Just some guy, that's it.
I am not in your life except through here on this post and even then why do you care?
I could be a freaking basset hound with the ability to type...get it?
Same applies to real life.
If A boy says to you "you're ugly"
All it means is that boy cute, ugly, or Tom Cruise thinks you are ugly.
Or it means he likes you and is only teasing because he is a kid...
Point is relax. Humans are human.
Instead look at you. Who are you?
Obviously some people get the crappy stick in the gene pool. But thats ok also.
It doesn't take beauty to cure cancer just dedication to the cause.
It doesn't take beauty to run a business. It helps but so does time and dedication.
Chances are you may never be the perfect human actually that is about as likely as King Kong coming to life and terrorizing New York.
No one is perfect. So just learn to find you. Learn to find what you enjoy.
Take it from a guy who just realized this lesson last week. And I am 22.
Life is a series of lessons, the true test is what you've learned.

By a**holes, I was mostly referring to the people who insult you the moment you post on their board. It doesn't matter what you post to them, they'll attack you just because you're a newbie. This is especially common on video gaming sites like Gamefaqs. Their comments are often no better than, "Go to hell, n00b!" or "Suck my **** and pineapples in hell!" I exaggerate a little because their spelling's not often that good. I know that people are quick to throw labels around, but if those aren't a-holes, I don't know who is.
Some people are arrogant and opinionated, sure. But others are just downright morons, often immune to the feelings they hurt.

It's happened to me - the internet is a very cruel place. People can be such idiots.
not including here though. I haven't seen much of it here. |

i've learned how to be so, so that

Sometimes, just being honest in expressing a well-informed opinion is sufficient cause to be judged an @$$hole.
And sometimes, an emotistical person will see meanness in every innocent statement.
And some days, it's just not worth logging on no matter what you say or do.
