First of all this is a true haven
No one will meke fun of me here just because I have a Visual Impairment? No one will call me stupid because it affects my abillity to type accurately?
No one will call me stupid cause there was a few times in my life where I lost control of myself and was easily mislead by my peers. THANK GOD

Because this is the forum, where we can talk about our troubles, without getting flamed. I was also wondering if there could be a gambling addiction support thread.

I'm seeing more and more members getting flamed on this thread and it makes me wonder Why the Haven?
People maybe once in a while should worry about that but not like it's been doing so many times recently. There's more members here that aren't taking this forum or each OP's post seriously. They should either not respond or refrain from demonizing or hurting the OP.
Some people should be able to get their troubles and experiences out in this forum without being ridiculed so much.

I agree. The Haven isn't what it used to be. I used to be able to confide in other members here, without having to worry about being chastised for venting about having a meltdown, or any other problems that I might be having. I can't even start any threads in The Haven, anymore. I've almost has a heart attack, when I've read the replies in my most recent thread, that I've posted in The Haven. I've almost left WrongPlanet, because of the person who attacked me in my Shitty Day thread. The attacker wasn't helping me out, at all. He made me even more agitated and that's caused me to even have a meltdown on WP, this morning. It makes me wonder why The Haven even exists. I remember when the people at WP were so supportive, that there wasn't any need for there to be a haven. Nowadays, people are flaming one another, in this forum. I can't even start a thread here, without being talked down at, by another member, as if though I'm a child who's Mentally Challenged. I hope that things get better, from this point on, or else The Haven might have to go.

To everyone who attacks people for posting about their problems in the HAVEN,
The saying isn't "if you don't have anything nice to say, say something horrible", it's "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". Obviously that needed clarifying.

maybe would also be good to re-write how the haven is described on the index front,so its made easier to understand,and gives others less chance to be nasty on here?
it never made any sense to am,and only learnt what it was by reading the posts.
the haven is the strongest support board of the lot of them on WP so it makes sense that nastiness is especially kept off here.
or.......what if those who know the rules and still are nasty on the haven are banned from using it,surely there must be a way of not letting them see the posts/come on the board.

The one time I posted on the Haven, I was essentially told that my feelings were invalid. I think a rule for this board ought to be that NO feelings are invalid because the person feeling them is obviously feeling them for a reason. I'm generally a very happy person, but there's a few things that get me down. When I came to vent about them, I was told I was stupid, living in a world of lies, etc. It wasn't until the thread was locked at my request that it was stopped.
There's my two-cents.
