You brought a smile to my face, do you also know the Monkey song?

They swing by their tales with the greatest of ease
These little lower lifeforms we call monkeys
They have so much fun when they play in the trees
Oh how I'd like to be one of these

Sooooooo

I'm gonna be a monkey
A monkey monkey monkey
A monkey monkey monkey
A monkey monkey monkey
I'm gonna be a monkey
A monkey monkey monkey
Would you like to be one too?

When one monkeys itchy, another is nice
He picks from his back all the vermin and lice
And if he gets hungry he'll shake on some spice
And eat the bug without thinking twice

Sooooooo

I'm gonna be a monkey
A monkey monkey monkey
A monkey monkey monkey
A monkey monkey monkey
I'm gonna be a monkey
A monkey, monkey, monkey
Would you like to be one too?

that's all I can remember, it is awesome.

My fave episode is probably 'Space Madness', I ate some soap re-enacting Ren cracking when I was thirteen. I can still taste the craziness.... 'I've had this ice-cream bar since I was a child'

Nipple salesmen episode was a classic too, I guess John K is in my mind one of the world's greatest genius'.

MysticSong:
I'm sorry you don't like Ren & Stimpy, I can understand why you wouldn't like it. It is definately an acquired taste. But as you can see, there is a bit of a cult following..... probably not such a good thing.

Tim_tex:
I'm glad you can appreciate Ren & Stimpy, do you have a favourite moment you could share with us?

ShadesOfMe:
Thank you for the welcoming, it's appreciated. Your confused, I hope it's not too serious. I am in a state of confusion for a lot of my life, I try to deal with it the best I can. the doctors don't seem to help so much.
Why did I change the title?
I don't really know what you mean? The 'Post Subject'? I need more info to answer that question...

ImMelody
You confused me quite a bit, I guess I don't have much experience with other passive aggressives. I have been accused of being passive aggressive and I guess on occasion the accusations were well founded. I can honestly say, if I met myself, I probably wouldn't know how to handle me. Actually I don't know how to handle me, I do at times feel sorry for people that they have to spend time with me and listen to my blabber. I guess now is the time for my open apology to WP for having me as a member. I would not mind if everyone just ignored me, actually I would mind, I would understand though. I guess I am confused as to why you quoted me, as I re-read what I wrote I noticed a couple of things that could have been taken the wrong way by others, it could have also been taken the right way. I guess I understand what you mean about warming up to others before you irritate them, i figured I should irritate people a bit first so they don't get the wrong impression about me. I still can't understand what I have just written, there is no real conclusion.
I appreciate your welcoming of me....

I didn't know 6 x 9 = 42. I was taught otherwise and I am thinking of buying a Mac because after re-installing Windows on my PC, the calculator still gets it wrong. I have been spreading the news and the manager of my local supermarket is not very happy because his profits have gone down and he had to take a big pay cut. But all his customers gave been buying me chocolate bars with their extra change. (I'm being seriousilly)

I also liked the "beaver fever" episode...you know..."You can't drink that water! You'll get BEAVER FEVER...because beavers do their business in there".

Muddy the Mudskipper was classic too.

Don't whiz on the electric fence......

I love the line in Muddy Mudskipper's theme song

'He's got segmented eyes'

Did you ever see John K's other show called 'Ripping Friends", it was only one season I think. It was a crack up.

Heya CroLigaLax, welcome aboard.

Question: What kind of bear is best?

Fact: Bears eat beets.

Laughing Laughing

If you are scratching your head, watch this:

Jim & Dwight Identity Theft

When I see people starting lines of text with 'Fact:' or 'Question:' I immediately think of this clip.

Silleriousnous aside, its awesome that you live in Melbourne. I want to live there very much. You don't happen to train in martial arts and know Dana Wong, do you?

Thanks for the welcome rjay09

I think the best bear is a live one... or a teddy bear...

An interesting fact, I guess it's not all that surprising.

Very nice clip, I haven't watched much of The Office recently. Very refreshing Very Happy

Melbourne is a pretty good city, I am biased. I haven't heard of Dana Wong but google told me that he is a Wing Chun teacher. I admire martial arts but don't train because I am lazy... Embarassed There are quite a lot of schools/dojos around Melbourne though. Have you heard of Zen Do Kai? I think it was developed in Melbourne, it is a hybrid martial art which tries to take effective techniques from different martial arts and combine them.

Never saw Ripping Friends, but heard of it. I'm sure I could find it online. My family is weird...they'll still exclaim "Don't whiz on the electric fence!" every now and then. My whole family actually kinda liked the show. Did you ever see the sketch comedy show "The State" on MTV? My all-time favorite. show. ever.

Glad you enjoyed the clip. The Office always brightens my day up. Laughing

I actually trained with a guy who did ZDK for a few months at my Wing Chun school. He was one of the toughest guys I've trained with but was really laid back at the same time. I like how Zen Do Kai puts emphasis on the martial arts extended family and comradery. Its a nice philosophy that it seems like the over commercialized schools miss.

I have some serious bias too, but if you ever decide to try some martial arts I'd strongly recommend Dana. He's a good friend of mine. Great sense of humor too.

Man, I really want to go to Melbourne now. Very Happy

I never saw 'The State' on MTV, I will keep that in my brains 'To Watch One Day' file. I liked some of MTV's shows like 'Liquid Television', 'The Maxx' and 'Aeon Flux' (I like animation on all levels). One of my favourite all-time skits was on 'Liquid Television' called 'Crazy Daisy Ed', he was a daisy with major anger management problems, he was a bit of an anarchist who was really abusive. I only ever saw each episode once and haven't been able to find it ever.... I will probably search the web for 'Crazy Daisy Ed' and 'The State' soon.

rjay09
It's funny you said that the guy you knew that did ZDK was laid back because I met a security guard at a night club who was the most chilled-out security guard I ever met did ZDK. I guess some night club bouncers in Melbourne actually hope to have a fight, but this guy was non-judgmental to patrons and really just wanted everyone there to have a fun and safe time.
I definately get your point about the commercialized schools missing the comradery, I think one reason I would be scared to participate in Martial Arts training is because I don't like competitiveness. I used to do Judo when I was quite young and enjoyed that although we never competed and my sensei was a really nice guy that looked out for all his students.
