| I think people with autism have empathy. My son does even tho he has issues with it. A year ago he was oblvious to his own dad melting down if he would even look at him and now you cant seperate the two. He also has empathy while watching sad parts in movies for example, he gets aggressive, says his eye hurt and starts jumping all over the place because i think he has a hard time figuring out his emotions but he def. has them. Hes also very compassionate and caring for other people definately like any other person as well. |

I don't lack empathy. i seem to have an excess amount of it.
What I do lack is the ability to express it in the "typical" way. I express it in the way i'd prefer it to be expressed to me. |
