I'm not quite sure what I'm doing here, but I came across this and just want to express a POV and provide some information that may or may not be relevant to this.
As a child I was diagnosed Aspergers and drugged for many years, until new symptoms developed as a result of the drugs and psychiatric abuse, leading to a diagnosis of schizotypal at 13 and then schizoaffective at 17, and then permanent disability due to pathology induced by neuroleptics.
During my years of research I've come across many works suggesting that there is a major money making scam here run by Big Pharma.
The medical industry seeks to be the largest industry in human history, replacing religion of previous eras as the ultimate rulers of our lives and framers of our point of view and reality.
Currently, big pharma is the third largest industry in the whole world.
Forced drugging of those deemed "mentally diseased" is extremely common, by courts and caregivers.
The switch from any mild disorder, mental or neurological, psychological or biological, is a matter of clinical impression.
Schizophrenia might as well be the modern word for heretic, serving the same purpose as that word in its time.

I personally want to buy that t-shirt, because I have a sense of humor...I don't want anyone to speak for myself, because nobody gives a f**k...so I say...f**k those imbecilles at autismspeaks.com that put pressure on some kid that is already under pressure because of her autism...sickening...everything is about money, they're afraid someone might make a few dollars...how stupid and greedy...

I think that Autism Speaks is really just a big moneymaker for the Wrights and their lackeys. Their books are private, so nobody except them knows where the money's going. I've read speculation that most of the money goes to pay the personal expenses of the Wrights. Of course, since it's a "charity", the Wrights get tax free salaries. That's why when Bob Wright was dumped by MSNBC for promoting Autism Speaks on air, he didn't complain. He likely gets far more money from his "charity" than he ever did working for a cable channel.
Of course, he and his wife want the gravy train to continue. We aspies threaten their lifestyle and status as the spokespeople for autism. Getting people to give you money tax free is the ultimate racket. Whatever it takes to keep the money coming is fair game, including suing the people you say you're helping. I think that it will ultimately be their downfall, though. Once the mainstream broadcast media catches on to what they're doing, every investigative journalist in America will be on their trail. The media here in America LOVES to tear down the high and mighty, even if it's not really justified. The Wrights are just asking for it. |

How about Autism Aloud? Avoiding the word matching should neuter their cases without being too far from the intent. This bullying tactic is sad and alarming... Any ideas on how to counter?
