You all make very good points about why they might not respond right away, if at all. Some things I hadn't considered.
However, I still think it best to err on the side of caution. The last thing you want to do is email her every day or two, "I haven't heard back from you yet, is everything ok?" That kind of behavior screams "clingy/needy" at the least, and "deranged stalker" at worst. _________________ Reasonable people adapt themselves to the world. I've got about 8 of them, all in places that can be viewed by anyone, provided its summer (otherwise almost all of my skin is covered because I'm always cold). I have plans for a full back piece and 2 full sleeves . . . Actually, I'm planning out a whole body suit. But I can't get any of that work done until I have the $$$$$. |

Back when I was single, I used to think there was a perfect girl for me; sitting home alone with the cats and a book, watching Star Trek... no wonder we never met...
there's always gonna be some rejection. You can get used to it, but hopefully not too used to it. |

Because Aspies are really, really bad at keeping the communication going. We get distracted by our interests, we don't know what to say and how to say it... _________________ *expletive* the normal world.

I think this is a brilliant explanation. Because they are aspies too, aspie women have difficulty communicating just like us aspie males do. I know I've put off responding to messages because I can't always think of something to say myself. _________________ Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.
