Autism (characteristics similar to Asperger's Syndrome)
I can't believe that the IEPs have gone so wrong for some of you..... 
I'm also disappointed that I wasn't listed as gifted or at the other extreme. I'm just average   .....though I could've been in GATE because of my standardized testing scores, but since I was having trouble with my classes as is, my parents didn't want me getting more homework. But those wonderful field trips I missed.......
Anyway, I wonder why the IEP description in some of these cases are so far off.

I don't know what I was placed under in middle school (since the diagnosis didn't come till halfway through eight grade) I was taken off of my IEP after my freshman year if high school. Right now in college, I'm just labeled as LD but I don;t have any learning accamodations set because I'm learning just fine.
