I wanna learn yoga and how to meditate. Is there anyone here who practices it or do you know of any sites that'll teach me? _________________ I used to be a Mohel but had to quit because I was only paid in tips

Buy a punching bag and some boxing gloves, that is by far the best stress relief.
I thought that AS people are naturally in the zone anyway. |

much better to take a class. having an experienced person guide you and make sure you've got the basics down right is important for both, and can prevent pain and injury with yoga.
i learned zen meditation from a catholic priest and nun, in the basement of a chapel in an archdiocese retreat center. the priest was an ordained zenner, and they ran a regular meditation group and zen retreats.
you should see if there's a falun dafa group in your area - http://www.falundafa.org/eng/home.html _________________ What will happen in the morning when the world it gets so crowded that you can't look out the window in the morning?

Namaste.
Excellent idea digger1
It will transform your life.
Yoga is a lifestyle I think was invented by Aspies for Aspies.
The logic that is involved in every aspect of it stunned and amazed me.
And that was way back before I ever heard of Aspergers', I was just looking for a sport I could do between running injuries, but when I delved into the fundamentals...
It is systematic and complete as a blueprint for a healthy life.
I have been doing it on and off for at least ten years.
I got deep enough into it to start reading the upanishads.
Ask me anything about it.
adverb is right, go to a class, you can hurt yourself learning anything out of a book.
Try as many different styles as you can find in your area, they vary widely,
find the one that is right for you.
You may walk into a roomful of little old ladies or Olympic level athletes.
I do Iyengar Yoga. This style places the emphasis on alignment.
It is strenuous and exact. I think I heard once that this is the type favoured by most
serious sports competitors.
There's a lot of Yoga on youtube.
