Is this a joke?

PS. You should put your name 'Merle' as your signature so that you don't have to type it out every time. This will save you time as well as energy. It's kind of weird to stick your name in every comment anyways. People usually only stick their names in PM's or emails, not on forums. Don't ask me why, but I cringe like crazy every time I see you put 'Merle' after something you typed out. This could be due to my OCD, but I'm not sure.

Don't take this as being rude, it's just advice.

I was giving advice. I'd stated that I wasn't being rude.

On some forums, its common practice to put either your real name or your nick especially among the older members who may have been used to writing letters by hand and therefore it was absolutely essential to put your name at the bottom.

Putting your name at the bottom of a communication is like saying you endorse what you have just said, its not just mindless, it suggests that someone has taken their submission seriously and can and will back it up.

It would not make sense to do it in one of the games threads but can be reassuring in other threads. Its like the person is really there.

I didn't thought about that being related to OCD, now I know, I don't cringe like crazy at this, not at all, but I used to wonder why people did that. But I think I cringe like crazy when I see someone cringing like crazy Razz
