My Apus
*Apus is the constellation of the bird of paradise.

The hallways and classrooms
were filling up.
Only brightness was left.
It resonated off of my Apus*

She is not a stranger to her
beauty
and of light she is
the greatest.

Back and forth between the
different planets
swelling and diving not unlike their heavy rings.
Their heavy things that make me wonder.

Books told legends-
Maps told of positions
I could not find her;
My Apus was gone.

And suddenly I blinded,
so I took my gentle rocket
I attempted to win Apus
The star nudged me back.

But truly she did decievingly...
for I stuttered my next thought
Houston, please come in,
This is Apollo 11.
