i have noticed a lot of people around here mention that they are lonely. and it makes me a bit sad. so i thought maybe we could all be alone together making us not so lonely anymore...or at least not so sad to be alone. or maybe something...i'm having wording issues.
if you need a smile i have a whole basket full of smiles to give to people.
if you need a hug i just ordered the biggest, softest hugging machine ever made...it only accepts u.s. quarters, so if you don't have any i got a cup full of them.
if you need some loving words i'm sure i can scribble out a few...they may be random and sloppy but it's the thought that counts, right?
if you need to spill your loneliness and pain i got the best clean up crew ... they have already proven themselves, i would give them gold medals.
i am lonely right now. care to join me?

Good idea. I'm just so tired of having no one around where I live. But what can I expect from a hick town? I think people like us need a thread like this.
I've got about six dollars in quarters on my computer desk.

you can be first to use the hugging machine. i have not used it yet but i am told it has different settings... nice quick hug, gentle hug, squeeze hug, and an ultimate hug.
curious - what is a hick town?

A hick town is a town that is very small, with nothing to do. It's usually synonymous with the southern U.S.

oh, well that explains a lot. and with that said i will lay a red carpet out for all hick towners.
i should make a call to the bakery for snacks - cupcakes, cookies, donuts ...

yeah, after awhile numbness has a way of taking over... but maybe give it a poke and see what leaks out.

Count me in. I've already accepted the fact that I'm(most likely) going to be alone for life so, I'm an ideal candidate for this group. Hello fellow loners. I will add more later.
