"Prayer" - Hayley Westenra

It's the most beautiful song I've ever heard in my life, and the lyrics speak volumes to me. It makes me cry, too. But in a good way.

'Pusherman' or maybe it's called 'The Pusher' by Steppenwolf

Mmmm it sounds warm. It actually gets better the more I listen.

EVERYONE must listen to 'Come on in my Kitchen' by Robert Johnson. It makes me shiver all down my back brrrr!

Somebody my age who knows Robert Johnson! Hooray! I love that song. Hell, I love any Robert Johnson. Personally I think we should go back to recording the blues raw like that rather than the overproduced same-y sound it has now. (And sacrilige though the thought is, perhaps go back to playing the blues acoustically rather than electric.)

i tend to keep a whole damn album on rotation in my mind. would that i could just think of one song at a time. but no, they come in groups: Smile

'shipwrecked' by Genesis (what did you expect?)

when i first saw this video back in 97, i was just getting out on my own. i didn't really get it. but now, when i watch it, i get choked up because i understand it so much more. my favorite scene is the bride running down the steps of the pier. i love the way her dress flares out.

maybe instead of jumping in the lake, she could've jumped on a bus? lol

********

'calling all stations'

a little bit lonely

********

'alien afternoon'

that feeling of not being at 'home'

********

these songs are all from the album 'calling all stations'
they should've called it 'calling all aspies' or something...just go ahead and admit they are, lol

oh, and if you watched all of these...thanks Smile

Talking Heads: "Life During Wartime" from their "Fear of Music" album. That was all afternoon pretty much.

Now it's Phil Collins: "Easy Lover".
