it could be a misperception on my part but if i'm not mistaken more "nonbelievers" have been banned than "believers" and, to me, there seems to be more patience applied with the believers.

I actually liked Ragtime, although he might think I don't Razz
Even though the disagreements on beliefs, he seemed to be well intentioned to me, and he seemed to be respectful on debates actually, that's why he wasn't banned, it is not because of his beliefs, but because of the behaviour, which were within the rules.
And his absence makes this forum kinda boring Razz

Think: What is the ratio of non-believers to believers? Who is more militant in their attacks?

honestly, i think i've noticed 2 or 3 people banned and they've all been "non-believers" and i don't recall any "believers" being banned...though a lot of them leave the site...but not banned.

That's because believers have Christ and nonbelievers have nothing. Wink Razz

I would be considered a non believer, I don't actually believe in the so called white mans god, or the bible, but I am still spiritual, and believe there maybe some sort of afterlife, I think having a belief like this is what makes us human, and to want to strive to be better. I guess that why I am agnostic, just in case.......................there is a god or some such thing, as an FSM

I pay far more attention to the topic and
subject matter than to who is responsible
for it. As a result I dont remember him
or his views

I don't think so, it seems a misunderstanding.

I am not on the intention of attacking or criticizing anyone, just trying to see why they are not here, and I miss them too.

For the record, I do like Quatermass.

Thanks. I did not want iamnotaparakeet to leave. I just wanted him to tone down his fundamentalism. Ragtime I won't miss.

Actually, in a way I do miss Ragtime; that music from the 20s really had a beat you could dance to. Especially that song about Alexander's Ragtime Band (no pun intended). That sort of stuff could really get you going, along with the jitterbug and the blackbottom.
