It's a bit stupid to bank an entire form of therapy on Second Life. The Second Life "grid" as they call it is very technically unstable. It's a bit hard to practice social interraction when your SL program is lagging to death.
And of course, forget about all the other things SL can help one do. It's an infinite realm as far as expanding your creativity goes, and I guess there are many things that Aspies could excel at in inworld (like scripting and building).
