I'm really sorry, British guys. I didn't mean to come across as ignorant. I only wanted to find out if the things I read online were true; I wanted to find out if the Englishmen were any different than Americans as far as dating goes... Sad

But seriously, cut me a little slack, would you? I mean, for goodness sakes, I've been living in Idaho my whole life. Idaho. The furthest I've ever traveled from my house was Laguna Beach, California. And that was only for, like, a day. Despite my worsening case of wanderlust, I'm afraid I really don't know what people are like outside of America (or Idaho, for that matter).
Don't worry we were only foolin around the British LOVE humour I think it gives our existence meaning Very Happy Anyhow you’re really nice just be prepared to forget any preconceptions and good luck with your search, also if you ever end up living in the UK "BEWHERE THE WEATHER" Wink

England is like most other countries in the sense that some guys are nice and some are complete jerks. dont trust sources that generalise people they are often wrong.

This is the part where truth be told from an interesting perspective.

The only true way to find out is to find out for yourself. As a British man, I am an exemplary employee where I work to learn English from. My pronunciation is an excellent aid to them to learn from, with pedantic spelling.

When I date, I try to be modern and when I go for a drink, I try to get away with buying all the drinks. I do try to dress for the occasion but most of the time I just feel more comfortable in my own clothes and this makes me more relaxed.

No-one has said anything on the "chav's" lol, the humour on this is that it has an abbreviation "Council Housed And Violent" whether it be true or not it something else, at the end of the day, I know some of the people like this as you describe and they aren't all as you have heard. I would avoid parks at night though

All I can say in relation to sex is "If it doesn't feel right at that moment, do not continue" Ok, maybe more, waiting for the guy to finish is not good, get involved. The sex you're referring to is similar to watching the TV ... Then someone tells you you gotta switch it on.
