If you don't know him, he is this high school age teen who won the Scripps National Spelling Bee and has also participated in the International Mathematical Olympiad.

There are videos online about people interviewing him after his spelling bee competition and many people seem to really view him as retarded. Here is one:

Anyways I'm pretty sure he's an aspie but it seems that his condition is way more severe than mine. I kinda doubt whether I am even considered an aspie after watching the videos.

Seen it before.

Those youtube comments really piss me off.

The reporter was quite nice however. Might have been forced (on camera, duh!) but still she tried making him feel comfortable and brushed right passed the questions that kind of stumped Evan.

Posted a video about that. Yeah those people are jerks. People act like it's the homeschooling that made him lack social cues. It's fairly obvious to me he's an aspie.

Here is a video that shows more about him and his other interests. Also shows that he isn't caged up indoors.

Can you please post the video? Thanks.

Does anyone know if most aspies are like Evan or is his case considered very severe even for an aspie?

Not sure if it's considered "severe" aspergers. I didn't view him as severe.
