found this on TOTSE, I wonder what site this is.

the description suggests 12chan, but they say the site is "Hidden" that suggests a Tor service. But there are other sites that have cacheing turned off so  12chan is down now and some guys on Tor were wondering about one of the hidden services' erratic activity, and some odd configuration a while ago. So anyone know more info?

| Well I know is 4chan, but there they even frown on Loli which is drawn, I've never seen anything resembling what they're talking about in the article. |

| Some sites would probably frown on Loli and such because even though it has been ruled as legal in the USA, it is banned in other countries and some of the admins of the particular site may be from one of those countries. |

there's hundreds of sites that are called chans. A chan is a imageboard (or textboard) where people talk about things anonymously as default.

Actually Lolicon is allowed on /b/ (though yes they don't allow it on /h/ or even /d/). when 4chan first started there was a dedicated loli board, but the host bitched and it was taken down. 7chan has a loli board IIRC.

have you been on /b/ a while? People upload up a bunch of r@ygold on /b/ (for proof, try logging on to 4chan with Tor on, most nodes are banned due to them, same for many proxies) "Back in the day" it was blatantly posted on /b/, even W.T. Snacks allowed the threads to grow. One of the reasons why /b/day happened was Moot crackdowning on this. Recently yes there isn't a lot of that on /b/, though I haven't been on /b/ heavily recently

recently, per a May 2008 SCOTUS ruling to be specific. It's still in "limbo" and unless you have balls of steel and money it's not a good idea to test it voluntarily.

IIRC there's 2 4chan admins, Moot and W.T. Snacks; both live in the US. Shii also lives in the US.

You can still get to 12chan through this link "12chan.crabdance.com" if you were wondering. I looked on google, and the little part that reads some of what is on the website said that.

you can simply google "12chan". (or 12chan.org) BTW they moved hosts anyway so it's not crabdance now/
then there's the awesome 2ch.us; which lists a shitload of chans there (serpiusly, most of the chans are listed there, from Futaba Channel to Britchan and Krautchan

heh. Yeah. Then again the UK pased those 2 BS laws, first against "Extreme Porn" then against Lolicon/Shotacon. We already knew the UK was fascist for a while but even the US reversed its laws against Lolicon/Shotacon in a May 2008 Court ruling.

You may have been the one who pointed out 'overchan', which was a metalink to a lot of various chans out there. It's of marginal interest to me; I think I found 2 sites out of a couple of hundred...
Sites will go up and down for a variety of reasons; connectivity, servever maintenance, etc. |
