MEGA MAN 9 PWNS!
Release dates:
WiiWare - September 22, 2008
PSN - September 25, 2008
XBLA - October 1, 2008
I just got Mega Man 9 for WiiWare yesterday, it's amazing! Just the "retro" game I needed.
Anyone else got it (or plan to get it)?
My brother told me it was a waste of money (he's 12), just because he likes Mega Man Zero. Now he's hooked with MM9

I am so getting it as soon as I can. By the way did you hear for two dollars extra you can play as protoman?

I got Mega Man 9 early monday morning. I had exactly 1000 Wii points that have been sitting unused for several months.
I played though all eight Mega Man games in order on the MMAC for Gamecube, so this new one is especially fun for me. |

just downloaded it. i've beaten three Robot Masters so far and i think gotten...four achievements?
not having the slide or the mega buster threw me for a loop at first. i'm like "Alright Mega Man let's do this! (hits slide button and it doesn't work)...what the hell? (Hits it harder before going to menu screen and finding out there's no slide)...uh oh."
and yea, this game is BEATING MY ASS. but i guess they wanted to give it more replay value than other Mega Man titles? nice to see Capcom finally giving a sh**.

Not being able to charge my shot is a real pain in my butt grrrr but I love it so much. I would like to see some of these so called good gamers play mega man 9 and beat it in an hour.

| I played the trial, couldn't figure out what the fuss is about. It's too uncompromising in its old-school design. The newest installments in Metal Slug, Contra and Gunstar Heroes are all better, and Cave Story also comes to mind. |
