File-sharers have moved away from the popular BitTorrent system following legal action, say experts.

Instead they have moved to another network called eDonkey, showed a study by internet analysis firm CacheLogic.

Not legal action, however, against the filesharers themselves, but against the websites that hosted BitTorrent services. The action directly against filesharers increased mainly in the US, not in the countries mentioned: South Korea, Italy, Germany and Spain.

Let the copying continue.

If people want something, we get it. It is tough to control people.

Besides, there are more people supporting it then against.

I never got into P2P really. I've always used Bittorrent. It's so fun to kill your connection that way. P2P is too messy. Bram Cohen is an Aspie? That's interesting.

BT is p2p btw. I think it's odd the circle I've done in procuring my files. I started with irc and usenet, went to napster, then kazza, then bit torrent, and now I'm back to mainly irc and usenet.

I still use plain-old Azuerus and IsoHunt, but only for stuff that I can't find anywhere else, like episodes of really old shows or something.

However, I'm looking forward to AllPeers, which is the P2P program that integrates into Firefox and has a buddy list so you can share files directly with your friends.

The guy who made bittorrent is a dignosed aspie. I read a interview with him. He was talking about filesharing underground sites and how little every one knows about them. And how he has connections in the underground file sharing. This guy had the motivation to site down and spend 2 years working on this thing him self doing almost nothing else he didn't goto work or any thing. He has a wife and his wife calls him aspie as a nick name.

Well with BT your pulling from more than one person and P2P it's usually one person your pulling a file from making it less safe and stuff.
