^Was that in reaction to the horror that is Larxene? Laughing

Do you understand my burning hate for her? Ugh.
What's worst:
There was this one time that I laughed EXACTLY like her! I clapped my hand to my mouth, then proceeded to go scream my head off for about half an hour.
YUCK. Mad

I just completed Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and the whole game I wanted to kill Princess Farrah. She's completely useless in the fighting segments. Half the time she shoots YOU with her bow and arrow instead of the enemies and if she gets killed (which considering how many dick moves the enemies commit happens more often than not) you can't rewind time to revive her and you have to start all over! Not to mention half the game she's overly hostile and tries to work against you, and even though you get with her during the game you end up rewinding time at the end so none of the game events happened! Freaking cruel.

Princess Farrah aside, I think Raiden's going to take the taco here. I think the only reason his presence was tolerable in MGS4 is because his annoyingly co-dependent girlfriend (who also completely screwed him over) had left him and he spent most of the game having the crap mercilessly kicked out of him.

Also this is kind of personal, but I've never liked Dante from Devil May Cry, the smug f****. Not only are the Devil May Cry games punishingly difficult but half the time he hogs all the action from the player in the cutscenes. Actually he had a female love interest that kept trying to screw him over too (Trish). Why do game developers keep doing this? They keep telling us we have to save them but by the end of the game I'm wishing nothing but horrible things on them.

I'd now like to list all of the annoying Final Fantasy characters that can f**k off and die: Cloud, Aeris, Cait Sith, Yuffie, Sephiroth, Squall, Zell, Rinoa, Selphie, Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Rikku, and Seymour (that fruity bastard).

Well, acutally, Raiden would count as one of my favourite characters -shrug- I guess that puts me as a minority (or possibly on my own), but his character just seems more realistic to me then any other game character I've seen. Its a long story.

I wouldn't mind running Rose over with a tractor though Laughing But personally I think that the character I'd most want to beat the crap out of is a 'My little pony' Rolling Eyes At least that way I might be able to win.

Well, I don't hate Raiden as much as some people do. I appreciate the idea of having a main character who isn't totally bicep-flexingly macho. But they went a little too far here, I think. I just didn't buy him as a soldier (or as anything other than a pedicurist or a hairdresser, for that matter). I mean, even the President was fooled. Also, he's not Solid Snake, so he was losing the battle for everyone's hearts and minds to begin with.

I don't hate MGS2 as much as some do, either. The ending goes just a smidgen too far in the "convoluted" department, but it's still better than most other games out there. It's just not as good as the other two that I've played (I don't have a PS3, and I probably won't ever get one, so I can't say anything about MGS4). Snake Eater was my favorite of the series.

And yes, Rose can die in a fire.

I think that whilst Raiden needed to be different from Snake, they didn't have to make him quite so....wimpy Rolling Eyes I'll admit the idea of him as a soldier was kind of difficult for me to grasp to, and he just seems to suit being a ninja better. But in all truth there is something about Raiden's character that makes him appealing to me.

And before I get any comments, no, it has nothing to do with the fact that I am female and I find him attractive, though I do find his dumb blondeness kind of loveable Cool

MGS2 was the game I saw, and it will always be the game I like most because of that. And also because I like screwing around with the guards minds Very Happy Aside from that, the ideas and themes of the game were something that really invoked my interest, and it has even changed my perspective on life. Though saying that, the whole MGS series has. So for ideas I like MGS2, for plot & characters I like MGS1 and for gameplay I like MGS4. I haven't played MGS3 yet, but the whole idea of 'catching food' appeals to me for some reason ^_^;;

Sorry for getting off topic.

y'know what I think it was? in Japan they gave Raiden a super deep voice and that made him sound more authorative. as good as a voice actor Quinton Flynn is he added to the whiny wussiness factor. plus the beautiful male is more popular in Japan than it is here.

I have a long list: Yoshimitsu
Sonya Blade
Heihachi (yeah...an old guy in diapers who cage fights)
Sid Clyde (from Vigilante 8...I HATE IT when his lightning move shuts down my car and I have to restart it)
OG Loc (for giving you that bulls**t dancing mission on GTA: San Andreas)
and just about all the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts characters.

Yeah your right, Wario should have stayed as his villian, at least he was one for Smash Bros. Brawl, though there are other reasons I want to do things to him for him in it.

Aeris would have been the first Final Fantasy character I would have really liked to put the smack down on. My only disappointment was that Sephiroth got to kill her first.

The amount of FF characters I would like to pummel has grown steadily since 7, to the point where I can't even play the more recent ones.

I didn't mind Aeris to be honest, but I do agree that the characters that I want to pummel has grown since FF7. I really want to beat the crap out of Rinoa from FF8.
