| I really do hate school. If I really want to do well in it I would but the fact is I really dont care about English class because I am forced to right about sh** that I have not studied enough about nor care enough about to produce such a paper with words carved in it in such a manner that impresses my teacher the slightest. The only class's that even sparks the slightest bit of interest is Math, I hate and love math at the same time but I do bad bad in it do to not studying enough and not doing the HW, and Global History, I dont study, I barely do the homework and yet I have damn near a 100% average (damn near because of my homework) I could teach Global History (I would never be a teach however) I don't even open my textbook most of the time to do my homework because I practically know it all ready for some reason! Back on topic though, school is like mass production of things, you get more sh** out but its not always quality. I really wish they had more places where teachers could take the smartest kids and carve them into masterful intellectual pieces of great knowledge that could do much more in there lives and do much more for the world in general. |

I just hate my teacher shes treats me like an idiot, sends my mom rude emails about how I lack in proper writing skills (Yet I get 100's on Global Essays?...), Im done with these teachers operating at a totally different level and/or style than me. |

Wow, NUTLOG, quite a rant you got there! All completely true!
One thing that's really pissing me off at the moment is people who keep taking things out of my bag when I leave it under my desk. I used to bring my notebooks into school everyday so I could write my story when the teachers are too distracted to notice, but I can't anymore cos people keep stealing them. HOW is it acceptable that people can steal my things so I can't even leave them safely in my own bag?! This one time, I had to hold my notebook really tight when I was walking from maths cos this b***h was trying to grab it, and nobody cared, until I shouted, "Get away from me, you effing b***h!" then I get told off by the teacher. Next time the cow tries something like that, I'll give her a bloody nose and damn the consequences! |

I definetly understand where you're coming from. I am with you guys on the school haters club. I wish we could form our own schools and learn in our way. By the way, you have the right to defend yourself no matter what the system says. You have the right to protect yourself and your property from harm and theft. Any system that denies you certain basic human rights like self-defense needs to be torn down. I have given you a part of my story in the other thread. I will be telling more in he other thread and I can link it here too.
By the way, the system is more about control and obedience and not education actually.
In my school one pointless activity we did was made stupid crossword puzzles. How in the hell am I supposed to learn anything from that? |

| By the way, if you want to hear a song about a guy who had similiar problems with school. His teachers thought he would amount to nothing. Here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_bvT-DGcWw&feature=related. It's called We don't need no education by Pink Floyd and the song comes from the rock opera Another Brick in the wall. |

We dont get to listen to music or use cellular phones practically EVER!
On a side note my last year English teacher had aspergers so I did very well in that class but he was really strict to the dumb kids, kinda funny. |

I am overjoyed to have left school, I hated close to every minute of my time at secondary school.
The idea of sticking a bunch of kids in a building and educating is not wrong, what is wrong is the way that it is being done. What I find interesting is that school has a series of zero tolerance policies on things which do not matter but when they encounter the things which do matter they all too oftein fail to take sensible and correct action.
My peers seemed to take a delight in giving me a hard time, and many of the teachers seemed to be too stupid or lazy to help me out. Of my teachers I only liked a very few, I view several with total contempt.
The best thing I got out of school was three A levels which were my ticket to university. _________________ Health is a state of physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity I am not a jigsaw, I am a free man ! |

Zero tolerance rules are derived from incompetent administrative figures who haven't a clue what really happens at school....
My school has zero tolerance rules for drugs, alcohol, sexual harassment, ect. Yet fighting is perfectly fine, even if the kid gets kidney failure, sterilized, or serious brain damage, lol. I hate schools for the bad teaching but its so full of underdeveloped "rebellious" kids, I wish schools would be more strict, telling a kid to go to the principle for back talking isnt working, I say if a kid back talks he gets back handed, while some will say that's harsh I honestly dont see how these lifeless sh** bags are going to be put in line, some are just to stupid to comprehend the value of knowledge, respect, etc. |
