A funny thing seems to have happened this morning ....I can't log out from Wrongplanet.net!
When I switched on my computer, and went to Wrongplanet, there I was, already shown as one of the members currently 'logged on'. But when I tried to log out, a brief message appeared (you are now logged out), followed almost immediately by the homepage again ....which still showed me as logged on.. I tried to log out several times, with no luck.
Now this is not important. It doesnt interfere with anything, I can use Wrongplanet when I like.... It is certainly better than not being able to log on , which really would upset me !
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Glenn, as you are now logged out, I assume that the ISP you have uses a cache to speed up page access times, so the version you were seeing was a cached page. If you see a 'you are now logged out' message, you can safely assume you have been logged out by our server. Smile

Sorry, but from my point of view I have never logged out!
After posting my previous message, I got the "you are logged out" message but my name remained on the "people online" list at the left of the screen. At which point I gave up, signed off everything I had been using and switched the computer off.
I have now switched on and come online again - as you can see - and lo and behold when I clicked on the Wrongplanet link, up came the home page with the information "You are logged on as Glenn" ! Surprise, surprise. And it allowed me to compose this new post without asking me to log on again.
Still, maybe not to worry ...as I said, at least I can still use Wrongplanet even if it appears I am 'permanently' logged on! But just thought you should know.

THIS POST EDITED A FEW MINUTES LATER - WHOOPS !! APPEARS YOU CAN IGNORE THE ABOVE. I JUST LOGGED OUT . AND THIS TIME IT SAID I WAS NO LONGER ONLINE SO PERHAPS EVERYTHING IS NOW OK ,,,SORRY TO HAVE BOTHERED YOU!
