That could be fun, but I'd be more inclined to ban the troll and delete his posts. Technically within the take-down that he's requesting, since the thread he started would be nixed, but in a way that backfires against him.
Something tells me that this is just a pathetic attempt to get back at WP for Zach's bitterness over whatever happened under his previous account.
BTW, Fnord, I like your new sig. Now you don't even have to write in a lot of your posts anymore, you can just quote the post you're responding to and let your sig save you time from typing your customary response.

I don't think it is possible to reason with someone who is this paranoid.
Regarding principles, though, there are two in question here: One, that you don't want to do something that looks like admitting you were wrong; Two, that you don't want to do something that looks like the autistic community is nothing but conflict.
If somebody wants a post consisting of something they wrote taken off the site, I don't see a problem with that request. It's obviously not copyright violation to quote something that was originally posted and linked for discussion by the author; but I also do think he's got the right to say whether something of his is quoted on the site--not for reasons of copyright, but for basic politeness.
The principles here aren't all that important. If giving in made you look like you supported abuse or thought autism should be cured, I would be all for fighting; but something as petty as this doesn't approach the really important things.

The article in question here is simply a summary of a CNN article reporting the event, hardly a peice of original work. So, the rules of this site have been violated in order to post that link and get the incident discussed, and now he is complaining that KaliMa wanted to discuss it. I would think it would have to be a pretty hungry lawyer to take that case.
