No s**t. It's like Dane Cook said: Don't beam me up by my chest plate. That hurts. Throw a rope down. I'll climb up! I'm here for you!

I don't believe in aliens. But Anything's possible.

Why would they give us Autism/AS?

There is a theory that aliens created us and that our fore fathers were indeed from the constellation lyra and the pleiades star system they are rumoured to be much like humans in terms of how we look but emotionally they are far superior. Also it is rumoured that another race known as the greys (the common abduction type alien) are masters of genetic engineering and see potential in us also it is rumoured that their race is dying out because they can no longer reproduce by natural reproduction and use genetic engineering instead. Basically they see us as containers that are ideal for them to mess about with our genetic material and its thought that these greys act in an autistic way - rigid movement, lack empathy, narrow interests mainly science and math based. so there just could well be a case here its rumoured they have started the foundations of a mass alien/human hybrid program....they do say nothings impossible.

The thing you said about they greys... You aren't by chance thinking of the asgard from StarGate, are you? Because that's EXACTLY their plotline.

I find this a bit interesting. I had a tremendous fear of aliens as a child. I remember for a long time believing that aliens were in my room watching me and going to take me away. I had all the lights on and I remember laying in bed terrified every night, often yelling for my parents and opting to sleep with them. Sleeping is hard when you are so scared. :(

I think aliens are way more possible than angels, demons, and sun gods (i.e. Jesus, Horus, Mithra, etc.) There are vast numbers of galaxies out there. To think we're the only intelligent life in the universe, in my opinion, is like thinking blue is the only color in the spectrum.

The Asgard were modeled after a theory about greys that already existed, except the Asgard are benevolent.

I was abducted by magical ninjas from Pandora.

I don't think aliens give us autism but they might connect better with Aspies than the general population: Think about it - NT's are below high functioning autists but we might be better understood by them because of their intelligence (notice how they, like us, don't land in shopping malls but hide furtively, only appearing when they can't be cornered by the inquisitive).

The bit about the helmet is interesting as maybe it's a cure for all autism - put this on your head and your EEG goes back to normal but you get the hell kicked out of you for wearing such a silly contraption on your head ('Hey kid, think you're an alien or something?'). The answer of course is to cover it with hair, so that as a wig it blends in. If it's too big, where a helmet over it.

As for the idea that somebody would use this as an excuse for self-harm - what planet are you from? The idea that aliens are cutting you up as a reason for scars, is more likely to get attention than that you fell down, got beaten up at school etc.

Man... everyone but us apparently knows the secrets of the genetics behind this damn thing eh? Aliens, pirates, ninjas, crab people...

In my case the Succubi gave it to me when they used me.

Exactly. Though, there isn't a uniform as indicated in the film, and these people actually still exist. They just occupy phantom positions in various government and non-government organizations.

How else do you think the government justifies $50k on a toilet seat. </sarcasm>

According to this guy, aliens can now take the form of humans and masqurade as one. Just skip the video to 8:45 and listen.

you might have to watch part 15 too. Maybe we are these new hybrids you keep hearing about.

Ah. That makes sense. I figured it would take one crazy nut to model his theories of alien abduction after a scifi TV show.

Allow me to give one final word on the existance of aliens:

Pics or it never happened :D

Sounds like when I was little. I'd make up stories and pretend to be characters in movies, and the other people in the family had to play, too. I'd get mad when they stepped out of line. I'd go into the towel cabinet, cover myself in towels, and try to convince my parents I was a monster that had kidnapped their real daughter. Was always confused why it never worked...
