Hobbies and Interests: Death Note, Music, Writing, Reading, Languages, Going out, Chatting (in the msn), Traveling, Marketing, Economy, Publicity, Helping.
Why are you here? 'Cause I find AS very interesting.
Favorite subjects: Marketing and any subject that revolves around other cultures, especially if it's given by a good teacher. I also like Economy, Administration and Publicity.
Year/Grade: Third Semester of my degree in Marketing and International Business.
Favorite music: Rock, specially alternative, some metal, specially nü metal, and a lot more, I'm open to almost everything. I also like instrumental composition, specially that of movies, videogames and animes soundtracks. I like Lostprophets and Taniuchi Hideki a lot.
Books: Another Note, Le Petit Prince, and Harry Potter's last. I haven't read that many books in my life, so I really don't have a wide criteria in books.
TV shows/Movies: Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, El Cartel de los Sapos, A. I., 300, V for Vendetta, Bridge to Therabithia, Watchmen, Benjamin Button, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, The Big Fish, The Brave, last X-men's movie, Batman: the Dark Knight, and probably some others that I can't remember right now.
Instrument: None, but I'd LOVE to learn to play piano and electric guitar.
Do you like sports? No, hate them, they bore me, but I like doing exercise.
Family: My parents, my little brother, two little dogs and my friends.
Clothing: I like looking sexy and well presented. I often dress simple when I go to school or to my friends' homes, just a pair of jeans and a simple blouse. When I go out to a party or something of the like I dress better. I like skirts and cleavages a lot.

Hobbies and Interests: Cats, computers and space are my favourite things. I'm also fascinated by philosophy, human anatomy and psychology. I collect things that are about cats (toys, books, puzzles etc). All I seem to be missing is a real cat.
Why are you here? Because I think I might have Aspergers.
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I haven't been to a professional yet.
Favorite subjects: Erm... at school? I like art, maths and biology.
Year/Grade: Year 10.
Favorite music: Rock, dance music and classical music.
Books: I like mainly like horror stories, books on anatomy and books about animals.
TV shows/Movies: Doctor Who, Primeval, Torchwood, Takeshi's castle, Nature documentaries, documentaries about Space, documentaries about human anatomy, Sci-fi movies and horror movies.
Instrument: I'm hopeless at musical instruments, but apparantly I can sing quite well.
Do you like sports? No. Team games are too stressful. I love trampolining though.
Family: Just my mum. According to my mum, my teacher in year 4 was concerned about me because I'd drawn all 3 of my imaginary friends on my family tree. I had imaginary friends until I was 12. My mum thinks I got rid of them when I was 8.
Clothing: Anything black, red or dark purple that isn't made of wool or nylon.

Why are you here? I felt kind of lonley not knowing anyone else who had Asperger's (except two guys, but they had huge crushes on me and it was irritating) so I came here.
Favorite subjects: Art and alternative fashion.
Year/Grade: 11th grade.
Favorite music: Goth Rock, Gothic Metal, Deathrock, Post-Punk, Electronica, Synthpop, and so on.
Books: Unfortunately I've been on a slight reading hiatus.
TV shows/Movies: NCIS, miscellaneous cartoons; Tank Girl, Shawshank Redemption, anything with Elvira, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Nightmare Before Christmas, etc.
Instrument: None.
Do you like sports? No.
Family: Parents, three sisters, and five cats.
Clothing: Conservatism is for the birds. Usually I wear all black, some combat boots, skirts, not too stuffy tops, and a long coat or satin floorlength coat. As for accessories, my usuals are an ankh necklace, a leather collar, and a billion safety pins because I have to pin them to my clothes or I'll lose them.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): A couple of years ago, a psychiatrist told me that I probably had Asperger's Syndrome, but I don't think I've been officially diagnosed.

Any comments? This is my first post.
Didn't speak until I was three. Gifted student early on but barely graduated from high school. Was in TAG and Olympics of the Mind. Won a writing competition in middle school and represented my school district at the Oregon Writing Festival. Have been a complete failure since then (as defined by society).
I don't think that having Asperger's is a disorder. I think modern society is just torture for people who don't fit the mold. I once read a novel called Ismael which suggests that the expectations of modern society have much the same effect on human beings as a cage has on animals in the zoo. Only caged animals display the same "mental disorders" as humans.
