I have not posted really much on site for a long time, I have been posting on a websites regularly which will remain nameless. I am keeping out of the conflict which has been occuring between alex and people who oppose him for various reasons.

In my life so far this semester, I am doing okay academically (I hope next semester to do a little better). I've been put on paxtine/paxil antidepresstants for depression and anxiety and have worked well. I got the first part of annual $2080 university scholarship recently and got myself a 1981 Holden Commodore Station wagon for $400, it will cost around $1000 in total to do the repairs and get it registered, I hope to use the car for a delivery driving job, which will boost my self confidence.

I've made a few friends on campus and gotten closer to a couple of old ones I made last year, which has been good. The Bendigo Young Adult Asperger social group has grown to 6 six active members including myself which has been impressive, I doubt it will grow much more than say a dozen, if that.

On campus I have met an aspie guy by the name of Mark he is 26, is certainly a computer geek type person who listens to Heavy Metal. However he became very socially adept over the years and turned from a introvert to a extrovert. He has given me some useful advice, agreed on some observations I have made about the dating game and has kind of criticised me about the posture of facing my chin down instead of up (which I am begining to correct). He can be an annoying person at times, but I feel he is helping me kind of the not so blind leading the blind thing.

Recently I have been reading up various books and articles (especially by GroovyDruid, thank you very much for the articles and especially the books you suggested I read) on things like body language, small talk and dating. I want to try my luck soon in the dating game, but I feel a little anxious, I am going to take it in small steps. First do scoping and find a girl who is interested in me and then have a quick conversation to find out about her and ask for her number and then call her and ask her out on a date.
