Autscape's organising committee need to give the venue their provisional figures by mid July and so would appreciate it if people could please register by 15th July.
Anyone with special needs, special diet, who must have a single room or is a child must have registered by this date so that the venue and childcare people can complete their planning.

Well, I registered ( a couple of weeks ago ), and have completed the questionnaires about special diets and room requirements, ( and booked my flight from France ), and there are only six and a half weeks to go.
I am also, by the skin of my teeth, managing to avoid procrastination about my Autscape presentation, on the links between diet and mental health, ( I put this down to being completely gluten-free for almost two years, and dairy-free for much of that time; ie: I am not as "out of it" on food opioids as I have been in the past ), so significant progress has already been made, phew, and nervous excitement has not degenerated into ravening panic, ( which it probably would have otherwise )!
I look forward to seeing/meeting other WP'ers there!

I think I'm on the chatlist, but I haven't posted on it yet, just read it when it appears.
Just 10 days until the preferred date for registrations, ( so that the organisers can sort out room numbers, food requirements etc with the venue ).
PS. The list of presentations etc is at the bottom of first page on this thread at: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt92587.html

On their home page it does not say what city, state, province, or country it is in. You have to open a pdf file in order to see where this conference is being held. From what I can tell, it's held in southern England in West Wickham,
Greater London, UK. |

... "is a place in the London Borough of Bromley, England".
I used to live in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feltham in Middlesex... but Feltham "is a town in the London Borough of Hounslow, West London". _________________ "Striking up conversations with strangers is an autistic person's version of extreme sports." Kamran Nazeer |

My post says Kent. The ppl who live here say kent. My post code search comes up as Kent. All maps says Kent. No where does it say Bromley, London. Me thinks Wiki is wrong! _________________ "dattebayo!"!!!!!! |

That will be interesting. I haven't met many people in the flesh who have excluded/exclude gluten and/or dairy.
But one of my worries for the presentation is that people will either already be interested and experienced in the subject, ( like you ), and that you/they are likely to know as much or even more than me about it, ( and hence my presentation risks boring you/them to tears ), or not, ( yet !!! ), particularly interested/knowledgeable about it, and that the more biological/chemical/scientific references and explanations will be incomprehensible to them. eg. I am still shocked when I gather that someone doesn't know the difference between proteins and carbohydrates, or thinks that gluten is in fish, meat, fruit and vegetables, etc.
I look forward to meeting you. And everyone else coming from WP!
