There are a few here who make up their own languages. I know I used to too but maybe I still do. But has anyone actually tried making their own crypt using what seems to be a speakable language? Probably the best example of this might be the Voynich Manuscript.

So with that, I open up the floor. What do you think it requires to come up with a solid glottal crypt?

I did this as a child, but now, I use the paleo-Hebrew lettering.

Was it merely a made up language (using a Indo-European template) or did you go about actually encrypting by creating your own template?

I created a language and a font for it which could be used for English and German text as well.

Klingon (yes, the made-up language on Star Trek) was actually constructed by a linguist. It's gotten far enough to have Hamlet in the Original Klingon...Wink That's the only made-up language I know about lately.

It has a fairly simple grammar and a regular spelling. It is a real constructed language though.

Let me show an example:
Tekneluru mi'aru mi aji, il'sidekhir'ra mi kia. Mi'ki'vasu kynha'het kirki.
Interlinear, this is:
Dream 3PS'is it only, 2PS'reach'in it, when-FUT. 3PS'FUT'become easy then.
