When I hear a song I like I tend to sway my fingers back and forth. I guess could this be a form of stimming? and does anyone else do this? BTW my parents hate it. Sad I feel bad after doing stuff they don't like then I think (here I am swaying my finger in a good mood and you go and ruin it!) and yet at times I get "oh you seem upset what's wrong?" Well I try to be myself (Mostly AS traits left/right and I get put down) then they think I seem depressed. Sad I can never win!!!!!!! Sad

I thought it was called finger flapping. Anyway yeah I do that when I'm pacing with my iPod in. Also, my parents don't ask me why I'm upset or anything like that anymore. When I get sad and want them to know I automatically fake cry. So unless I'm doing that they don't need to ask and are better off not.

Thanks glad to know I'm not the only one. I didn't know it was finger flapping. Smile

Um, maybe I'm nuts, but I thought that that was normal. When people hear music they like, they move in different ways.. some people dance, but others sway, bob their heads, or whatever. Sometimes I'll move one finger the pattern of the meter, like kinda mini conducting the song. Which then give me a vision in my head of my high school band director.. LOL, kinda disturbing!
