YMBAAI...
...you manage to impress a Mormon missionary with your knowledge of the LDS church.
...you, after having handed in your master's thesis, are told by your supervisor that it has brought you half-way to a PhD.
...you have trouble telling the difference between a date and an employment interview.
(All above are from real life.)
Also, hi. This is my first post. |

Well, generally, no matter how well you do at a job interview, there isn't even a hint that there might be sex later. Also, very few job interviews take place in nice restaurants after dark. _________________ I am RICHARD, Chief Warlock of the Brothers of Darkness, Lord of the Thirteen Hells, Master of the Bones, Emperor of the Black, Lord of the Undead, and Mayor of a little village up the coast. | In my Jr High school cafeteria there were periodic "Eat in Silence" days as punishment for who the hell knows what. YMBAI if, at the end of one of those lunch periods, you come out of your fog and ask the nearest person, "Did we have an Eat in Silence Day today?" and she laughs and says that I never know when we have them. |

| You feel most of your spare time should be productive. Like working on a project (Writing, Computer Program, Web Site, Art, Math and such) or watching educational shows related to your interest, or reading books and magazines related to your interest or reading classics. |

And going off of that, you might be an aspie if "Eat in Silence" days were always your favorite days in school. I know they were mine. The only one I had to try not to talk to out loud was myself (which was easier said [err, not said?] than done). _________________ "I don't get the facts wrong! It's everything else I screw up!"

On Tuesday my professor asked the class if any of us had ever made it about halfway through a sentence and stopped, realizing what we were saying was not appropriate. No hands were raised, as my classmates have to be beaten to share opinions. Or maybe they are perfect. I didn't raise my hand, either, but after a few seconds I looked at my prof and said, "I didn't raise my hand because I get all the way through the sentence". And frankly, I usually don't figure it out then. God bless blatent honesty and the inability to leave a question unanswered. |
Brilliant!
YMBAAI:
You can figure out what the word "scarnon" means.
You realise the concept of justice is a total fallacy.
People think you're a serial killer, and are then surprised to hear that you in fact care deeply about people. _________________ Please visit my blog at http://thevoiceofreason2009.blogspot.com/ |

you think this is the best thing in the universe.

you worry about making such an absolute judgment as "best in the universe" without all possible data. |

You might be an Aspie if you can wire up a concert sound system, but don't remember to saw laundry loads even though you wrote it down, your mom told you three times, and you even told yourself out loud a few times to remember it. Mom LOVES my ability to do such things. _________________ (\_/)

I love Philip Glass, too.
You might be an Aspie if solitary confinement not only doesn't sound like that big of a deal, it would be the best way to serve a prison term to you.
You also might be an Aspie if you just realized that your life wouldn't be that different if you were in solitary confinement. _________________ My fellow Americans. You might be an Aspie if, you go around using quotes and dialogue from movies in normal everyday conversation... _________________ Col. John Wilder: We won't ruin it.

| Ymbaa If you casually tell someone you hope you know as many facts as they do when you get to their age, and can't see anything offensive or rude in what you've said. |

| When you were a child you got in an argument with your friend because he said that if something was printed in a book it was true, and you tried to convince him that books only have what is currently known and can even be opinion, but you couldn't convince him. |
