Music. It's like a time warp sucking me in. Like a tornado swirling me up. It goes through me and swirls around me like a wind in a hurricane. Colors strike me at the beat. I can get lost in the music. Looping for hours. Over and over. My favorite ones right now, Portal - Still Alive, Basshunter - All I ever wanted, Basshunter - DOTA. Music is my drug of choice. |

I can be a bit addicted to the alpha state. During that time, I sort out my thoughts, it just seems very peaceful to me.
I like to be immersed in water too, especially warm water.
I like blankets and tight clothes... and I love flannel shirts for some reason. |

I suppose it has to be having my blanket on me when I sleep..Yes, I know this sounds absolutely weird.. _________________ Col. John Wilder: We won't ruin it.

Kick off the shoes, sit back in a recliner or couch with feet raised off the ground, optionally take off socks, especially if they are sweaty.
1. The big toe goes up, the four little toes go down.
2. The big toe goes down, the four little toes go up.
.... Repeat. It may take some training of the toe muscles to achieve this, as its not natural to do part 2.
The joints crack each cycle.
Every once in awhile throw in a full ankle rotation (few more cracks ensue).
Then when you are content, stretch the sides of the lower calf by pulling the outside parts of your feet up and the insides down. When I say inside/outside I'm referring to the left and right while looking straight down at your feet. This is the grand finale. |

dog and cat fur (I wash my hands afterwards though)
deep pressure - eg firm handshake, sphygmomanometer (blood pressure cuff ), massage, being grabbed tightly on the arm by someone, hard hugs etc
polished marble/crystals/glass
smell of my favourite foods when I'm hungry - eg curry, fried rice, brownies, scrambled eggs, cheesecake etc
smell of old novels (especially from the ones in which the pages have gone yellow)
satin/fine cotton or silk |

The smell of new books. Bliss.
My baby blanket, which has these soft satin edges on it - I wind them through my fingers and wriggle them slightly. I still do it when I go home and find the blanket in my old things - I swear I never sleep as soundly as I do when I have my blankie. Mum says I never used to suck my fingers as a baby - I just rubbed the blankie against my face. Old habits die hard, I guess!
I also just love the feeling of freshly cleaned soft cotton against my skin. Nothing makes me sleepier. I think it's because I really dislike the feeling of skin-on-skin, so wearing big soft jammies in nice sheets is just... ahhh. |

1. I am in agreement on the cat fur thing. I really love having a cat on my lap.
2. Stroking my dog's ears. All of him is nice, but his ears are the softest thing ever.
3. Having some amount of weight on top of me, like a heavy blanket.
4. The smell of fall, spring, fire, bacon cooking, and my father (not cooking). Also the smell of some men who are not my father (that human scent thing is very polarized, either I love it or hate it).
5. The best sensation ever was at Lake Tahoe a little over a year ago. It was very, very windy and the waves were high. I stood about calf-deep in the water and just laughed and laughed as the sound, smell and feel of those cold waves splashed against me. One of my family members took a picture of me about a minute after they dragged me away from the water. I have never seen a better, happier picture of myself.
6. As far as human touch, I really like handshakes. Not loose handshakes that feel like squashy dead fish, but real handshakes.
7. Cold weather in general, but particularly chewing on snow.
8. As a child, I built a swing that not only moved back and forth, but that also could spin 360 degrees around its axis. I tied it to a limb of the tree in my backyard, which was an enormous willow tree. I would start on one side of the tree and push off, spinning that swing around as many times as I could before crashing (or pushing off) into the other side of the tree. That was an amazing feeling.
9. Being in a plane that is taking off. The pressure is the best part, but the sound is nice, too. _________________ "I don't get the facts wrong! It's everything else I screw up!"

Hmm.. I like..
I like layered clothes, layered blankets.. any layered fabric, especially cotton. (Like hoodies with two layers, ooooooooooooooh <3 )
I like feeling my hip bones pressed against something. (Like the floor, or a belt.)
I like soreness, like the day after you do something strenuous, and I like the feeling of your iris stretching like when you stare at the sun.
I like when I drink way too much coffee or energy drinks and get really jittery, and then lie down and just vibrate. XD;;;
I like bandages on the palms of my hands or feet. Not that I get hurt often.
I like smelling my arm. >__> If I breathe on it first, it smells warm and salty like the beach. XD Also I like the smell of warm wood, like a sauna or driftwood. I have a windowsill that smells like that in the sun.
I like walking barefoot on big flat rocks, because you can feel your feet conform to it like a gecko when you walk up steep ones.
Also walking barefoot in heavy rain. The water splashes everywhere even if there are no puddles and it feels like an upside-down shower.
And I like things that make my head vibrate a bit. Like if you stick a popcicle stick in your teeth and flick it, or bonk your head with an empty paper towel roll, or bite on a fork. XD;
...Okay, I guess I should stop, this has become more than just my favorite-favorites. XD;;; _________________ "Things should be as simple as possible, but no simpler." - Albert Einstein

making vigorous movements.
rubbing knuckles on top of each other
warm water through my hair
seeing guys(not in a gay creepy way)/girls with long hair(has to be middle of back or longer)
Listening to UFO's song Time On My Hands live from the BBC.
