Okay so I just did my SAT in October 15 (I think. I can't remember.) and I got my results yesterday. So now I'm gonna post it here. But before I get to my results, I'm gonna show the format of SAT scores for those who don't know. Here's the highest possible score for the SAT:-

Critical Reading - 800
Mathematics - 800
Writing - 800
Total Score: 2400

And now my scores:-

Critical Reading - 470
Mathematics - 480
Writing - 360
Total Score: 1310

Now the questions I'm asking myself right now is these: Is it good enough for me to enter USC? Or do I need a higher score? Or maybe is it enough for me to enter other colleges? Question Confused

Admissions Data for Incoming Freshmen in 2007:

Test Scores -- 25th / 75th Percentile

* SAT Critical Reading: 620 / 720
* SAT Math: 650 / 740
* SAT Writing: 640 / 720

from http://www.satscores.us/sat_scores_by_college.asp?College_ID=123961

Hmm... I think it'll be best for you to try to get a better score.

I believe you're very good if you applied to Mason with that score. Also why be a Trojan (or Gamecock South Carolina share the same initials with Southern California) instead of being a Patriot.

I don't remember mine but I remember they were abysmal. Things were very rough at home though (long story) and I was in a clinical depression (hindsight). I ended up going to a community college and eventually transferring to a state university. When I went to the university I took art classes and the professors liked my work enough to let me bypass the portfolio requirement for admissions to a degree seeking program in fine arts. You might try the community college angle. You can improve your standing there, maybe?

Or try applying to CSU Los Angeles. Very Happy Your scores fit into their 75th percentile. I will say no, don't apply to USC, because it's too overwhelming as a 'prestigious' school.

I won't lie, probably not, unless you have a relative who's an alum.

Yes, there are plenty of other schools you can go to with those scores.
