I've not bought new music in a while. That needs to change soon. Thing is I have so much just sitting around to last me about a year.

I just started listening to A Trip to Marineville by the Swell Maps today. Kind of quirky and silly but still experimental post-punk that's somewhere in between Wire and Guided by Voices.

That's my number one rule when I create this thread anywhere (in fact I did make one here 'bout a month ago, but it didn't take off like this one did), if you bought an album, who cares about the format?

I do buy CDs, though. I've also started a cassette collection (I hate them but you can't beat 49 cents for an album... I convert them to digital files for listening). If I have the ability to play it, I don't care. I'm one of those people who are materialistic about their music. About a 4th of my music collection is of legal .mp3 files without a physical counterpart, but I try to work on equaling out my ratio even if I buy a CD for which I have already paid for the .mp3s. Amazon vendors are great for that purpose.

Skipped my last purchase, my pattern is that I try to have an entry for each music purchase I make.
So...

Today:
Skindred - Shark Bites And Dog Fights

Previously:
The Lonely Island - Incredibad
The Robert Cray Band - Bad Influence
