ok, say you are walking to school or work, and you see two billboards, one is off 2 men kissing, another is off 2 females kissing, which one would you have taken down

Well, apart from the fact that I have no business in taking down other people's billboards, I don't see a problem with either.
Also, what's a "hyperthetical"? |

Just from general observation (not a scientific study), most guys have a problem with other guys kissing, whilst more girls don't really care. Neither gender seems to have a huge problem with two girls kissing; it seems to be a male fantasy, and some girls are willing to act it out in nightclubs for attention.
My answer to the poll would depend on the context of the ad. If the aim was to promote equality or highlight same sex couples, then I would not have a problem. If it was just 2 half naked girls (or guys) making out in order to advertise Lynx or the latest alchopop, then yeah, I'd probably vote to take it down, same if it were a hetero couple. |

Hypothetical, of or in the nature of a hypothesis. From the greek, "hypo," meaning, "under," and, "thesis," meaning, "position," or, "opinion." "Hypotithenai," is, therefore a portmanteu word meaning, "to put under" or, "to suppose."
By extension, therefore, a "hyperthesis," is something that sits on top of a position or an opinion. In other words, an irrational prejudice or bias. Kind of like the reaction that stereotypical, redneck hetero men have to seeing two men kissing.
I like it. This is a neologism that I will keep. Thanks tk5800!
P.S. I looked up "hyperthesis" in the OED. Unfortunately it is already defined as the transposition of one metrical foot for another (as in an iamb for a trochee or vice versa), and "hyperthetical," means, "superlative." Oh well, this just means that I have to start to campaign to get these put into general use.

I'm bi so I wouldn't mind either. I wouldn't take them down either because if that's their ad, let em have it. Doesn't affect me in any way at all.
EDIT: Grammar and Spelling. I know how much those being wrong can annoy people.
