This is one of my favorite movies that I see once in a blue moon.

Until I became a geography/urban planner major, I never understood the real premise of the movie. We learned about the whole streetcar dismantling in L.A. in one of my classes.

The villain gave me nightmares, esp when he says, "When I shot your brother Eddie I sounded just... like... TTTTHHHHHIIIIISSSSSSSSSSS!" Shocked

Great movie that I don't get to see often. I always loved the beginning cartoon part of the movie.

I tried showing it to my kid, thinking about how she had been to Toon Town in Disneyland and that she would be so tickled to see the cartoons acting like every day people.

I forgot about the scene that introduces the villain, when he caught the cute little squeaky shoe and murdered it by dipping it.

I say "murdered" because my kid ran sobbing from the room as though someone had up and punched her in the face.

But I think it's an okay movie, anyway. Unless you're an 8-year-old who loves all things cute.

That movie was a big part of my early childhood. I'd still have to say it's one of the greatest films of all time. As far as the villain goes, Christopher Lloyd's performance was fantastic. He gave a really dark vibe, and I'd agree that it was spooky when he revealed his true form at the end of the movie.

I forgot about the movie for years, but sometime early this year I had to revisit the movie when the scene of Roger bashing the plates over his head in the diner popped into my head, and I watched it online. At 20 I can still say it's a classic.

I hear there's a sequel in the works, though I don't have a link...
