I feel Aspie-quiz is not described properly. The term "Aspie" used in Aspie-quiz is not the same thing as ASC, and this is clearly stated as well. Aspie is more like the whole neurodiversity-concept. Thus, Aspie-quiz measures the "super-wide" BAP, not ASCs. To get an indication of a possible ASC, it is recommended to study sub-scores on Aspie obsession, NT social and NT communication. OTOH, the total score does work as an ASC-indicator to the same degree (or even higher degree) as does the total score on the AQ-test. I also think the Neanderthal theory is not related to Aspie-quiz at all, and thus should not be described in this thread.

According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is very poor. People who score like you do feel that they have trouble dealing with their own emotions and those of others. They struggle to overcome difficulties in their lives and they are unable to control their moods. It’s hard for them to understand how best to motivate themselves and reach their goals. In addition, they find social interactions quite difficult, for several reasons. They may have trouble allowing themselves to get close with others, finding it difficult to be vulnerable enough to establish intimacy. They also report having trouble offering support to others, likely due to the fact that they do not understand where others are coming from or they lack ideas about how best to help. Perhaps by working on your problem areas, you can become more confident in dealing with your own emotions and those of others.

what?! how am i socially retarded? i'm pretty sure im good with close friends...um....can having a low self-worth lower your results? Sad

Thanks, Scientist for getting these all in one place!

Test scores

BAP: 94 aloof, 97 rigid, and 82 pragmatic (all above cutoff / either BAP or autistic)
Autism Spectrum Quotient: 39 (autism spectrum range)
Aspie Quiz: Aspie-124 / NT-85 (very likely an Aspie)
Empathizing-Systemizing Quotient: EQ-12, SQ-78 (Extreme Systemizer)
Emotional Intelligence: Subscale IQ-81. Subscale percentile-10 (somewhat poor emotional intelligence)
Highly Sensitive Person: 15 (highly sensitive range)
Mind in the eyes: 29 (high typical range)
Face Recognition: 86% (above average)

Extras

Online Alexithymia Questionnaire-G2: 156 (indicates significant alexithymia)
Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale: 44 Fear + 37 Avoidance = 81 (severe social phobia)
Official Weschler IQ: full-scale 121 (130 performance / 112 verbal)
Official Block Design Score: 99%

And if I had been tested when I was younger, some of my scores would have indicated more severity.

I know what you mean. I'm sure I am lot more higher than that. But I am really awkward in social situations & never really sure of what to do, but I don't think it's that low!!!

Your result for The Broad Autism Phenotype Test ...
Autistic/BAP
You scored 104 aloof, 101 rigid and 105 pragmatic
You scored above the cutoff on all three scales. Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype. You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to. You probably also like things to be familiar and predictable and don't like changes, especially unexpected ones.

Oh wow. I didn't think I'd score that high. It's strange, I don't act like that much, since I'm pretty good at small talk. Then again, it was all learned, not instinctive. As in, I taught myself a set of responses/questions for the average social interaction (how was your weekend, I like your ......, did you do your homework, etc) so that as long as the conversation lasts about ten minutes or less and I don't have to say anything in particular, I'm pretty good.

BAP:

You scored 110% on aloof
You scored 94% on rigid
You scored 96% on pragmatic
You scored 10% on diagnosis

You scored 110 aloof, 94 rigid and 96 pragmatic

You scored above the cutoff on all three scales. Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype. You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to. You probably also like things to be familiar and predictable and don't like changes, especially unexpected ones.

6. Understanding facial expression test: The 'Reading the mind in the eyes' test (Baron-Cohen et al.).
Average score is between 22 and 30.
If you have ASD, you might have difficulties understanding facial expression.
And did you know you can actually train understanding facial expression? See: Training mind reading.
Take the 'Reading the mind in the eyes' test

None of these eyes made sense to me. The multi-choice didn't even help.

geee, what does that mean? *sarcasm*
