Are there certain clothing items that you don't like or refuse to wear or that you personally don't like maybe cause of the way it looks on you?
For me is that I hate the steel toe work boots that alot of guys wear. I will never wear them. Most guys shorts I will never wear. They are always too long and way to wide. So i've taken to wearing girls shorts, they are much better. I had decided to try girls jeans previously. I'm more comfortable in stuff that is more fitted that what most guys wear. alot of the tops i wear are made of cotton/spandex. I don't llike stuff that is too baggy. |

Anything plaid or resembling plaid in any way. Or stripes.
I'm also not a fan of most flat shoes. I love my heels, even though I'm tall without them, I just think they look prettier.
I don't like jeans that are any colour other than black, blue (denim blues, not bright blue), grey, or in some cases white. IMO, jeans just aren't supposed to be red, yellow, green, and so on.
I absolutely do not like the colour orange. I never have. (I won't even drink orange juice, except when it's mixed in with a pink cocktail or something.)
I don't do pearls, either. They're a bit too "upper-class conservative" for my tastes. I have some silver-ish pearl earrings that I will occasionally wear with black or grey clothes, but not white pearls.
I'm a very picky dresser. I have a certain style, and if whatever is currently in fashion isn't my style, I'll wear what I like anyway, people will just have to get over it. _________________ 'El reloj, no avanza

Clothing is one of my main sensory issues. I won't wear pants with zippers, socks, regular tennis shoes (the type with the arch in them; my shoes must be flat on the ground), itchy tops, flip-flops, or anything tight.

I don't wear any plain clothing, only those
with happy things on them like Tigger and

| I can't stand jeans. They tend to make me itch. I can only wear sweaters if I have something softer under them, so they aren't actually touching my skin. (I do have a denim jacket that I sometimes wear when the weather is changing, but it is lined, so I can't feel the denim). I generally like my clothing snug, but some things I can stand loose. I'm contemplating getting a utilikilt, though I would have to wear underwear under it, as I like being well supported. |

I used to have a problem with shorts as well, but I have since gotten over it. I never used to want to wear shorts when I was a kid, and that of course caused conflict with my parents, who insisted I had to wear shorts at when they decided it was too hot for long pants. One summer, they took all of the long pants out of my closet and hid them, so I'd have to wear shorts.
It caused a lot of fighting in the house which didn't have to happen. _________________ PrisonerSix

| I'm extremely picky. My undergarments must be cotton, they must be comfortable, I can't wear stuff like those high cuts or whatever you call them. My clothes must not be too tight. I refuse to wear anything jean, jean jackets or jean skirts. I refuse to wear long pants. My pants or shorts much reach to my knees, but not all the way to my ankles. I don't wear shoes if I can help it. If I have to, I must wear comfortable sandals or slippers, unless I go to work or something and must wear closed toe shoes. All my blouses must have sleeves, even if just short sleeves, and most important, I must expose as little skin as is comfortably possible. |

| That's interesting. I hate most women's clothes because they are too fussy with unnecessary parts on them. I like steeltoe shoes and I buy my Tshirts (standard wear for me) from the men's department. They cost about half price there. Oh, and I'm a big person so they don't even make women's shoes in my size. So I'm the opposite of you, a female who prefers the men's department for everyday things like tshirts and shoes. |

I can't wear pants that are snug at the waist...they must sit on my hips.
I cannot stand poly-cotton t-shirts...any t-shirts I wear have to be super-soft or I will notice them all day.
I cannot stand high necklines...
I can't wear "cheap" shoes....I have weird feet and for one thing, my feet will quickly destroy cheap shoes...and for another, the feel of shoes is something I am very sensitive to..and badly made shoes will torment me to no end.
I can wear Crocs...Danskos...Birkenstocks...but the new ones that are made in China are prone to breaking on me within a short amount of time...um...Older "Born" shoes that are made in Latin America...there IS a difference between those and the ones made in China..or they are hand-made and there is a difference from pair to pair really..but I prefer the ones made in latin america... some of their shoes are exceedingly comfy, and some I can't stand at all....Just like there is a difference between the Clarks made in England and the ones made in China....I am sorry...there just is....
I am not completely predjudiced against China...I wear Crocs, which are made in China. I have one pair of Birkenstocks that are made in China, and have not yet disintegrated...
(I get most of my shoes at thrift stores where I find them cheap but practically new)
The Chinese-made Danskos and Birkenstocks I had that quickly fell apart were new though..I am talking...at least 3 pair...
Oh yeah...and Doc Martins..I can wear Doc Martins...but only certain ones....A pair of older purple thrift store slip-on clodhoppers has been my winter pair of shoes. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/MsPuppetrina

Skirts and shorts, as well as jogging bottoms.
I used to hate wearing corduroy until recently. Velvet is a nono though. _________________ I'm a writer, not a fighter and my pen is always loaded.

I absolutely hate tight clothing.
- Jeans must be baggy, or at least, have some room for my balls to breathe! Cannot stand skintight jeans.
- Underwear must not be tight, same issue.
Cannot stand short socks and white socks.
Trainers must be wide and not long and thin like most trainers are. Prefer wide, 'skater' shoes.
That's about it really... i'm sure theres a few other things that I can think of that I've forgotten about...
EDIT: I also really hate three-quarter lengths. In my view, they should either be short like shorts or long full length. Just doesn't feel/look right. (on guys at least, imho)
