a takamine electro/acoustic, Gretsch Acoustic, Epiphone les paul and a Kramer Bass. Some of you have really top range guitars, would love to get a Gibson melody maker or a mexican Fender strat in the future.

I once had a Yairi. Unfortunately, it went with the ex wife. Now I have an Ovation Applause, not real fond of the steel strings though. REALLY wish I hadn't let the Yairi go. Fender Mustang when I was a kid.

My primary guitar is a B.C. Rich Ironbird LTD. I also have a B.C. Rich Warlock and for a bass I have a Rogue.......it was cheap, but plays fine. I really want to get my hands on a 7 string Mayones baritone guitar but those are hard to find out here....

My only current guitar is a Seagull S6 acoustic. I promise you, you won't find a better guitar for the 500 spent on this. Even with cheapo strings she's sweet as indirect sunshine in these amateur hands. Sounds better than an old friends father's Ovation acoustic that cost multiples more. And he was a professional and acclaimed session guitarist.

I have a Squier Strat setting up in a closest elsewhere. Matched with a cheapo distortion pedal it was almost a deadon match for many Nirvana tunes but sorely lacking for much else.

I love my Seagull. Very Happy

I currently own an '05 Les Paul, an '09 SG Special, a Cort Action Action Bass, 5 String Fender Jazz Bass and a Cort M600. Need money though so my guitars might start disappearing. Sad

I used to own a Rickenbacker solid body with one pickup I got second hand. Someone swapped the original for a Gibson Humbucker pickup. Otherwise it looked just like John Lennon's from his early Beatles days.

Guitars owned by others in my old garage band: Fender Mustang, and Jazzmaster, Moserite, and Gibson SG.

I play on a MIM '07 Telecaster with Seymour Duncan Hot Lead Stack matched with a Duncan stacked pickup in rhythm position. No other mods (yet), but I have thought about installing a switch to make it go from parallel to serial. There's nothing quite like that hum-canceling stacked setup.

I also have a 60th anniversary American Strat that I take out of the case to make recordings with every now and then. I only bought the tele because I didn't want another strat. Had NO idea I'd like that cheap guitar so much, and now it's all I really want to play.

No effects or fancy amps unless I borrow one for gigs. I'm a keyboard player, and I only pick up guitar on songs that don't really use keys. For gigs, I plug into my MacBook Pro and use Mainstage effects, particularly Pedalboard and Amp Designer. I have a dedicated out to run into a Carvin amp I borrow from our guitarist, and that helps keep my guitar from being so "fake" sounding like when I run it through my keyboard amp. I'd love nothing more than getting 2 Marshall heads and 4 4X12s, though! If I did, I might be motivated to give up my keyboards and actually learn how to REALLY play.

Cheap Silvertone Acoustic guitar I got for cheap....

Cheap Trinity acoustic guitar someone gave me as a gift.

Pink Squier Strat HSS I got bought myself just because i decided I wanted an electric guitar

Squier 60's CV jazz bass

Ibanez GSR200 4 string bass

Mexican Fender Pbass also 4 string.

I am mainly a bass player, my crippling social deficits usually go unnoticed so I don't mind being on stage once in a while. Most everyone is staring at the Lead guitar the singer and the drummer anyway.

as for what I use...

Acoustic: Martin DM-1 (forget the year off of the top of my head, but it was from the original batch of them made, isnt a sigma version, was passed down to me from my uncle.)

Electric 7 string: Ibanez RGD2127Z Prestige 7-String
Electric 6 string: Ibanez RG 120 (planning on getting new pick-ups once I get a new job) (its also a variant that was made in limited quantities which had the wizard II neck/fingerboard, and DiMarzio active pickups.)
Ibanez Iceman

also planing on getting a
Ibanez RGA8 8-String Electric Guitar

(yeah I may seem like an ibanez fanboy, but they are great for my playstyle, and they are priced nicely.)
