It's only A-shaped thorax. Don't fear :D

So, am I the only girl in the world who absolutely positively cannot tolerate a bra? I tried wearing them in my early teens but it was like I don't know.. I suppose it felt the way it would feel to have several layers of duck tape around ones chest.

So I don't wear them. I don't believe that I've ever heard of another woman in her 20's that wont wear a bra. I don't have any problems, I don't *think* anyone notices because I have quite small breasts. But I could be wrong. Maybe people do. Regardless I don't care because wearing a bra is downright painful for me.

It never ceases to amaze me the discomforts women will subject themselves to in the name of "looking good"

Concerning bras...had you ever told my younger self that I would be wearing one someday I would have thought you were insane and had no idea what you were talking about.....but one of my teachers somehow convinced my former hippie free love bra burning mother to figure out a way to get me into one.

Mind you, my biggest issue with them were that they were itchy, so we started with an all cotton sports bra. I found this completely intolerable by the end of the day but I could at least manage it for most of it, and I slowly got used to them.

So for a good many years I wore cotton sports bras. They weren't much in the shape department though. One day, however, I stumbled across this cotton hybrid looking thing. The elastic and such was entirely encased in the cotton fabric so I gave it a try and found I could tolerate that rather well.

Since then...and admitted advances in bra design and technology, I can generally tolerate anything without lace. If the elastic is exposed, or any potentially bothersome seams, I turn the bra inside out and wear it that way.

I love bras. The tighter the cups are, the more I like them. That way, my boobs are flattened, as much as possible, and that keeps people guessing, about my gender.

I'm really glad I can show you This Website :)

Quote about American sizes:
American system

It’s a mutation of the British system, digits are the same – 32, 34 etc (they don’t produce 28 and 30) and cups end at D – probably due to an advanced case of letterphobia… You just have D, then DD, DDD, DDDD….. it’s just ridiculous. As if calling the cups with multiple D letters would make them be smaller than F or G or H etc.

If anybody actually makes bigger cups, sometimes they name them FF, G, GG or G, I, J – it’s a bit of a mess, really.

Here, a digression – some of you may associate American bras with Victoria’s Secret… Well, before I found out about real brafitting rules I thought Victoria’s Secret was a paradise. But after I discovered my real size and comfort it gives I know I will never buy anything from them again. They don’t really have all range of sizes (even though they claim they do), the quality is really low – these bras are terribly stretchy and unsupportive, they also get damaged fast when you wash them… Frankly speaking it’s a crap that is nicely packed into a shiny pink gift bag .

All here
Look at page 3, there are many photos and how-to.

Cockney, don't worry. They see your back :twisted:

Bras are absolute torture devices, I feel sicker wearing them. The only time I ever wear them is when I'm going somewhere that family will be, because I'm prone to headlights. 8O

Easy question:

I can't paste as many images as I need! because of FORUM

Somebody still can't see it's BRA thread, so I write about BRAS. If you're afraid of bras, nobody forces you to read it all.

Welcome again. It's the rest of my post above.

Girl from my last post should do the same:
After and before.

90E = 40E
70J = 32J
Sizes are British.

dobrze = right
źle = wrong

Compare the bras - one is mine and second is my roommate's:

We have the same chests, so our band size is the same. Both bras are the same long.
She has 35" in boobs level, so she wears 32D.
I have 43", so I wear 32HH.

It's very painful for me not to wear one.

To the OP: If you're fairly flat and don't want to wear a bra but want to make sure it's not noticable, wear one of those spandexy tank tops under your shirt. You probably wouldn't always need to do it, but if you had a special occasion, job interview, or an outfit you just weren't sure of, I'm sure that would be more than adequate to make sure nobody could tell. If it's spandexy that should negate any minimal jiggling that the ultra observant onlooker might pick up on.

I'm a 34 A, and I hate wearing bras, but sometimes I have to in order to keep my nipples from throwing through thinner shirts. It took me a long time, but I finally found out that the demi bra that Body by Victoria's Secret makes fits me well and is very comfortable.

It's pretty without being ruffly or stupid, and it's a very soft underwire that molds itself to fit a person. Plus, it doesn't have any of the annoying padding smaller girls seem to be pressured to wear.

Victorias Secret doesn't have a single thing I can wear. I wear a 36 G. I've just gotten remeasured because I've lost fifty pounds, but the ones recommended by the numbers were one band size too big and two cup sizes too small. At least it gave me a starting point. There is some formula where you measure around where the band goes, add so many inches and that's your band size. Measure around the widest point and the difference between that and your first measurement indicates your cup size, but then I think you need to be flexible and check the actual fit so nothing is bulging out, too tight or too loose.

The Bravo bras are awsome, very comfortable and well designed.

Auuuu! Oh My Back!

Weight of the boobs makes too loose band riding up. Cup size doesn't matter. Very common picture of the streets.
