Internal Censor
I am interested in hearing from others about their internal censor (IC)
Is your IC your friend or foe? ie, does it have a loving parental quality or is it always negitive and critical?
How would you define your IC?
Would your call your IC by another name? ie, deeper-self? Or say Enlightened whitness?.........or even pain in the ass? _________________ www.chrisgoodchild.com

Thank God for science, but feed me poetry please, as I am one that desires the meal & not the menu. (My own)

| My IC is always on critical - that is to say I always see what's bad or not good in life which works well for me at work but is very challenging to live with. |

My internal censor needs adjustment. When I do something foolish it's never around but if I want to do something good such as talk to the pretty lady one floor below me there's this little voice holding me back.
Pain in the ass sounds about right.

Can be a bit of both. It can really inhibit me from expressing myself. It can also save me from expressing something offensive. Mine's tuned about right now. _________________ Not currently a moderator |

| Mine seems to be in reverse - when I shouldn't talk I can't help but to say something that seems relevant, on the other hand, when people want me to talk/respond I can't. |

What's an internal censor?
EDIT: Oh, okay. It means what I thought it means. Don't really have much of one, truthfully. I blurt things out a lot. |

Kramer: "What does your little man tell you?"
George: " My little man is an idiot."
My internal censor isn't as restrictive as it was before meds.
I am much more likely to blurt now. |

I have an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other. Both fight for the possession of my inner self.
