*giggles* Anything to do with reading. Books. Mostly fantasy. Scifi. Adventure. I'm a bookworm to my core. But every once in a while I stray from that path and play the occasional video game. *gasps*

I think that you all have really cool special interests. 8)

The thing that I like about our special interests and obsessions, is how they make us, all the unique individuals, that we are. Nobody should take that away, from us. :)

I devote nearly equal amounts of my time to the following special interests:

Pediatric cancers, especially neuroblastoma

General medical topics, the more unusual and dire the more interesting they are to me

I was previously quite interested in foreign languages and linguistics, especially Lithuanian syntax, but I don't spend nearly as much time reading about it now as I did a few years ago.

Autism spectrum disorders & self advocacy.
I hate how my special interest relates to my own condition. Because unevitably, after I talk about it for a while, people start suspecting something about me, and I eventually end up disclosing.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one obsessed with Autism/AS. :D

In order (most occupying first):
1. Computers
2. General Electronics
3. Autism/AS (In short, PDD)
4. Music (Both to listen to, and create)

I'm sort of in between interests ATM.
My friend has noticed (no knowledge of AS, this was said without prompting) that my lasting interests that are intense enough to be odd are Neopets and Sims (2).

If anyone plays neo, please drop me a PM and I'll give you my username.

She commented (also without prompting) that I tend to get very, very intensely interested in book/TV series. It seems like I'm more into them, but they fade, abruptly, usually when I have exhausted all readily available material.

From 4th grade onwards:
-Neopets
-All books by Tamora Pierce
-Neopets
-Sims
-Twilight (before it became popular)
-Neopets
-Gilmore Girls
-Sims
-MASH
-Neopets
-All books by Orson Scott Card, mostly the offshoots of Enders Game and the Tales of Alvin Maker series
-Sims

I think that's mostly chronological. I know Neopets started in 2005, Tamora Pierce was in 07, Sims started three christmases ago (Winter of 07?), Gilmore Girls was spring of 09, I think. Twilight was probably somewhere around the release of Eclipse, ended before summer of 08, for the most part. I kept that one up b/c I could (slightly) relate to people with that one.
