Im visiting my family and Im out of town right now. My dad wants me to come hang out with him tomorrow but he cant go anywhere without my aunt because she has a car., so wherever he goes she goes. and I havent seen her in a while. I used to have a huge crush on her when i was little, and I thought it would end now that I havent seen her in years. She knew about my crush too. Now I see her and she is still gorgeous and I wanna be held by her like a baby. I have trouble giving her a hug, she's so pretty. I'm nervous, I know she still remembers my crush on her even though it was years ago. Thats something hard to forget. But she is not gonna say anything. I dont wanna make it look obvious. she's a cutie. When i'm around older women that I like, I usually show a sort of affection and they respond positively, but I cant do this with her because shes my aunt.

Can someone help me? tell me what to do so I can make this hang out with my dad as smooth as possible, because I just wanna have fun, and not be so focused on fantasizing about being wrapped in my aunts arms like a helpless baby.

She's your aunt, so assuming she's not really really young, she probably remembers you as a baby, right? If my nephew had a crush on me at your age I'd be flattered and probably think it was cute because I'd still see him as partly that baby I helped care for. You might not want to mention it though, especially because your dad might not find it very amusing. Just have fun. It's better than her being some wretched aunt you'd rather never see again.

If you're still bothered, you could try to imagine yourself in 15 years. You'll still be youthful but she might not be, and might become unattractive to you by then. You just have to consider her frailties and shortcomings to counter your infatuation with her.

Well my dad used to take care of her when she was a baby, and she took care of me when I was a baby. So she's pretty young, but not that young. she's early 30s. he remembers when I used to like her (I still do). But I wouldnt mention it now to anyone. I was young and silly back then lmao. But i still just wanna lie in her arms. when she hugs me she smells like roses and her hair flows so beautiful. I just have to not think about it I guess. Thanks for your advice

I had a crush on my uncle, when I was your age. 5 years later, he wasn't that good looking, anymore. He aged a bit, in 5 years. He's no longer alive.

this is kind of the zen approach, two monks traveling, beautiful maiden needs help crossing river, that kind of thing . . .

neither hold on to the thought nor try and push it out of your mind. Just let it be.

I see that you are 18. If you took a course on paramedics, or whatever regular college courses you wish to take, or any of a wide variety of jobs, or any of a wide variety of social clubs, you might meet an older woman.

'Would you like to grab a cup of coffee?'

Yeah, just keep it very straightforward and matter-of-fact.

You might have more in common with a woman who is slightly older, say 22 or 23. Of course there’s always a chance you and a woman who is, say, thirty-five might really hit it off, but the two of you might not have that much shared life experience in common. But other personality aspects might compensate.

Good luck, and keep it real.

I do like older women and only older women. They are easier to conversate with. I met an older woman on the plane and all she did was run her mouth to me, and I kept talking to her. She was pretty. I don't like any of the college girls so far, they are boring, and wait for you to go talk to them. I'm not going to the love and dating section, because I've made a vow to myself to stay out of the adult and love and dating section when I made this account. Those sections are both negative and self-loathing. I chose not to self loathe about my dating life anymore, and just talk to the girls that like me, and those are the older women. But I just dont wanna feel awkward around my aunt because I wanna have fun.

I've never told anybody this, but I had a crush on one of my uncles too. He has a great sense of humor and is a wonderful artist. I used to get jealous when I heard that he'd been flirting with other women. He went back to prison for a parole violation a couple of years ago, and it'll be another year or two before he gets out again. I think my crush on him is over, or at least I hope it is. If he's aged at all by the time he gets out of prison again, I probably won't find him that attractive anymore.

In some ways college is very artificial, and you probably already know that. Yeah, the fraternities and sororities, they don't have a healthy influence. But it's much broader than that. It's the whole narrow definition of what "cool," the whole rigid, one-dimensional social climate, which is much more hierarchical than it needs to be. And then, and then . . . someone's humanity unexpectedly shines through all this, and you just need to be ready to accept the free gift.

As far as meeting older women, maybe environmental or hiking clubs? Maybe your local Democratic or Republican club? (I've learned a lot through politics)
