That it's very unusual for someone to name The Kinks, as their favourite group. That's what a student worker at my clubhouse told me, back in the Summer of 2000. I still believe that, to this day.

Aha.. and just now from a song for my sister's bday party. Lyrics are something like "applebottom jeans... fur-lined boots"
in my head looks like saggy mom-jeans with apple halves glued one to each buttcheek and pinetree branches in boots.

on the radio yesterday they said
"thugs are increasingly useing fierce dogs, knives and bats as weapons",
and I thought "how do they train them?"
and then I realised they meant the sporting equipment bats not the flying animal lolz |

My father had been stuck in traffic, and when he came in and I asked why, he said, "They decided to have a bonfire in the middle of the freeway. They were roasting marshmellows."
And me, being me, replied, "Really?" not questioning him, but questioning their stupidity.
Then he informed me that no, a camper caught fire and burned.
