This is a poll asking Aspies and other WrongPlanet people what kind of social situation they would be most comfortable with. Enjoy! Smile

Well, a history club meeting doesn't sound too stressful but meeting 2 MP members would be AWESOME!!! Very Happy

I was torn between elderly people and history club.

To be honest, history club would be the least stressful, and would allow me to listen with interest without mandating involvement.

I'd love to meet the MP members but there is NO WAY that would be "least stressful." Most incredible, yes, but still very agitating.

Elderly people or history club. Meeting a politician I respect would be also be able to be tolerated. The others...

Tim Burton, by any chance? Or do you just like the Mad Hatter?

Meeting MP members would be amazing, but totally stressful. Same with directors. I think the history club meeting would be the least stressful.

History club. I don't think I'd have to say much. Everyone is there for a purpose, to be focused on history.

Personally, I don't care about history much. I only like socializing when it's with a few or less people I know, in a place that's familiar to me.

I can't handle being one to one with anyone, I like a crowd I can get lost in, though the noise gets to me, it's far better than having to deal with a situation where I have to try and hold a normal conversation. Concert or party are great, party better because a little application of alcohol makes things a little easier Smile

TOTALLY agree with you. At first I thought that I would hang with the old folk and listen to what they have to say, and if they didnt want to talk then I would have no problem eating in silence, But I realised that if I went to the history club then I would for shure get a history lesson, so I chose that.
